NO Heart or Compassion 2/18/2011

I can't even give this facility one star but this site is forcing me to give one. They turned a heartbreaking situation into a nightmare for me. A very beloved dog was put down and there was no compassion or care for the dog in the final moments from the staff. I wouldn't let Dr. Tang work on a cockroach I found on the street. In this line of business, I was led to believe one should have compassion, heart and animal behavior knowledge for all innocent animals. I was sadly mistaken.\r I hope there is a time soon that all the wonderful moments spent together will completely outweigh in my heart his final moments, the only saving grace is I was there with all my love. more

Dedicated and understanding 8/19/2010

Nobody wants to have their pet in pain, and nobody wants to have to make the sickening decision to have them put down. Today was the second time in 2 years I have had to make the heart wrenching choice to end my pet's misery. more

Experienced vet with a pratical side 7/15/2006

Bell Ridge has been here for some time and I've dealt with them as far back as 1993. These days it seems like anything medical related the prices have skyrocketed and treatment is so much more invasive. Here they are practical about things and understand when and where a line sometimes needs to be drawn. Our dog was actually put down here after a 17 year life and they were compassionate and respectful. PROS: Compassionate, respectful CONS: None more

All around great office! 2/14/2006

After searching around town and dealing with many vets who were incompetent with treating small animals, I came across Bell Ridge and Dr. Ruehs. The staff is very friendly, it's usually very easy to get appointments right away, and Dr. Ruehs is excellent with small animals. I will not take my pets to any other office! PROS: Great office, excellent vets CONS: none more

Great vet, clean facility 11/19/2005

I took my dog in to get his annual shots and checkup. The veterinarian was very friendly as were his staff. They noticed a cyst on my dog's forehead and gave me practical advice about having it removed. Unfortunately they don't take payments- however, the cyst went away by itself in a couple months before I had saved the money to have it removed- whew! I will be taking my dog back this year for his shots. more
