Bel-Red Auto Rebuild

I originally had high hopes about this location, I was SORELY shown otherwise. I spoke to their operator and was told to come on Saturday to have my car checked and could show up any time between 10 and 2, which I did no one was there. Made multiple phone calls to their emergency line, and after an hour of waiting a ERIC showed up. I was told he was there for an appointment and was told to wait. My friend spoke to him and explained our situation at that point we were told to take our business else where. Which we did. If not and like to be treated as less then a person go there. But don't say I didn't warn you!! more

Awesome service, fast turn around time, and got my car back looking like new! Will try not to get into another wreck but if I do, Bel-Red can expect this returning customer! more

Bel-Red Auto Rebuild did a fantastic job of repairing the damage to my vehicle. I would recommend them to anyone for the utmost in quality repair. I could not be happier with the work they did, it looks new. Also the insurance company that handled the claim said they offer a lifetime warranty on their work. more

Good: The shop has always been good to my friends and myself. Helping with the insurance company and making sure my repair was done properly. I know Bill F. He is being unreasonable. He tried to extort $10,000.00 from the owner to take care of his pain. His complaint is not valid since he did not ask for the bumper until the repair was complete.. My family and I have been using Bel-Red for a while now. We have taken about 4 different vehicles there and could not be happier! Not only is their work outstanding, but they have great customer service. One vehicle I took there was a 2005 Range Rover which I needed the front bumper, fenders, hood and lights all repaired. It came out perfect! It looked brand new again. Bel-Red is also very efficient. Quotes and time estimates were always accurate. I have and will continue to highly recommend Bel-Red to people. more

Between my family and I, we have taken about 4 different cars to Bel-Red, and I could not be happier with the work done. All were in pretty bad accidents. One of them, needed the front bumper, fenders, hood and lights repaired/replaced. And it came out looking brand new. Not only is their work great, but they are dependable. Good: They fixed the dent on the side .. Bad: I asked them to save the original rear bumper as the van had belonged to my son Spencer and he gave his life trying to save a friend from drowning. Sentimental value, beyond dollars. I had asked them more than 20 times and four people to save the rear bumper. They "Lost it" BS- 4 people and 20 requests and they could not do one simple request. If you value your automobile or anything about it. Take your car to anywhere else. THEY (IN MY OPINION) DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, YOUR WANTS. Just get the money F you. Improvements: Every one of the people I talked to FIRED. They will destroy the companies reputation.. Good: I liked the fact that they told me I was at the wrong shop. That Bellevue was a contracted shop by the insurance company and that I could take my car anywhere I pleased for the repair. I choose Bel-Red. Safeco contacted me and threatened that they would not cover the costs of the repair or warranty the work. They told me that I had to take my car to Bellevue. I refused. Instead of getting aftermarket parts I had OEM parts on my car. The gaps are perfect. I bet anyone who has their car worked on in a Safeco. Bad: shop does not get a quality repair done. I am happy with everything Bel-red has done and would recommend that people go there. I have cancelled my insurance through Safeco and now go with Pemco. Much better company.. more

recently backed up my car in to a pole, as a result I made arrangements to get it to get it fixed. I called my insurance company to file a claim. We decided to take it to Bellevue Auto Rebuild 1424 130th Avenue NE. Instead I accidentally drove to Bel-Red Auto Rebuild 1404 130th NE, not realizing that I was at the wrong shop. I talked to the nice gal on the left as I came in. I told her a had a 1pm appointment. She asked for my name and I gave it to her. I filled out a page of information on the clipboard. She never told me I did not have an appointment or that I was in the wrong shop. The technical person that I talked to said that they would get started on it right away. I was misled and deceived by Bel-Red Auto Rebuild to believe this was the shop I called the day before, when in fact It was not. Later I got a call from Bellevue Auto Rebuild asking if I was going to come in later. I said I already did, telling her who I was. I then it hit me: I gave it to the wrong people. I said "Well I already gave it to the other shop and they already had it apart. Sorry." A few hours later I got a call from my insurance company claims department telling me about this kind of deception, and how Bel-Red Auto Rebuild has pulled this in the past. We went into conference call with Bel-Red. Bel-Red began to take my car apart knowing full well they would be paid by the insurance company for the work already underway. I told Bel-Red Auto Rebuild to stop work and I want the remaining repairs to be finished at Bellevue Auto Rebuild.. The guy at Bel-Red told me he had to talk to the owner before he could release my car. My response was wait, this is my vehicle, I can have this moved with or without your approval. The insurance company would grudging pay Bel-Red for the 2 hours work done, and I would have Bellevue Auto Rebuild get the car and drive it up to their shop about 200 yards up the street. I was misled and deceived by Bel-Red to believe this was the shop I called the day before, when in fact It was not. They began more

This body shop does an amazing job on my car. I love going to Bel-Red. I feel like Im walking thru a car show with all of the exotic vehicles they have "on display" ouside and inside the shop. It is truly an experience. more

Being a younger female I will admit I have been taken advantage of before while trying to get my car repaired both mechanically and body work. I am ALWAYS sceptical about these types of businesses. I was refered to Bel-Red from Land Rover where I purchaced my car. The staff at Bel-Red was both male and female, genuine personalities, and truly cared about my vehicle. My car was back to me in a week, all repairs perfect, not to mention they fully detailed it for no extra charge. I will tell everyone about this shop, especially my female friends who are also weary about these types of businesses. more

This place is a joke!!! The front desk girl as of Jan. 2009 is horrible. Rude, unfriendly and not very with-it. I took my car somewhere else. Oh yeah, and they couldn't even write me an estimate. They said they didn't know how to write an estimate for the repair. I left there in shock! They wanted my business but couldn't provide me with a estimate? I had no trust in this shop and took my car elsewhere! more

I was in an accident and dropped off my car at their shop. A week later they FINALLY got around to looking at it to START an estimate (a week, seriously). Then they leave my car in their lot with its entire engine exposed -anybody could have stripped parts from it at any time if they pleased (and I had some after-market parts installed.) They finally finished it after 6 weeks. They fix it when they feel like it... which isn't often, apparently. Got my car back and they had the lights messed up, they had globs of polish all over a DIRTY car, they scratched my leather seats, my kickplate, my door, dented my other kickplate, and chipped the paint on the side door. I finally just wrote the car off as a loss and traded it in because I didn't want to go throught them "fixing" the car again -I don't have the time for another 6 weeks. Stay away from this shop. My car's been there for 3 weeks and counting, with no indication of when they'll get to it. It would have been nice to have been told of their apparent we'll-get-to-it-when-we're-ready approach to doing business. It's amazing, really. more
