Very professional, honest, and friendly. Took the hive away. Got the crap stung out of him. the bees got into his bee proof suit, and yet he continued until the entire 50 pound hive was removed. The bees were aggressive. Great job. Friendly staff. Thanks bee Catchers!!!!!!!!!! more

I have never been treated so poorly for so little! I asked for an estimate-then I called to ask for a written estimate I called on a Sunday YES! she yelled at me like I was her boyfriend !^%&*($#@%&**&^%#!!! [ Expletives to me) SHE SAID! I had the most upsetting experience with their customer service dispatcher. She was extremely rude and would not even let me talk. The rudeness stemmed from asking-- two hours into the time window given--if they would be on time. They are three days late in returning the call and now time window has come and passed--over an hour--without a call. I tried to explain we have not been able to go outside for a week and need help, and she got upset with me and stated they were out of the office for the weekend, etc. and that they will get there when they can. I will NOT recommend them to my neighbors that are also having a bee issue. There are other services that will treat customers with respect.. more

We had a bee swarm a couple of weeks ago immediately before a trip out of town. When we got back, it was clear that the bees had taken up residence in a half-wall near my front door. I called several other firms before selecting Bee Catchers. They came on time and did the job cheerfully and professionally, including patching up the stucco where they removed the hive and the hole where the bees originally entered. They took the hive away, and none have come back. I'd recommend them to anyone! more

I just had some work completed by BeeCatchers located at 17216 Saticoy Ave., in Van Nuys. I set an appointment up originally and they never showed up. I gave them another chance because they had a good price. The service appears to have been completed to my satisfaction, but it is still very early to tell, as there are still a lot of bees. However, the customer service from Nicole (who I believe is the owner) was awful. She yelled at me over the phone and would not let me speak. The service was completed on Friday afternoon, and we had agreed to a payment by credit card once the service was completed. I did not get back to my house until late on Friday, and did not check my messages over the weekend. She had called me wanting payment on Saturday. Not a problem, but they left an invoice and I was just going to pay by check. She called me on Monday morning and yelled at me and would not even let me speak. I paid in full at that time, not believing that I had just gotten yelled at for not paying a bill, when the work was completed late on Friday and it was Monday morning at 10 AM when we spoke. When paying, she said that I lied to her, and that I ""hope the credit card payment goes through"". I have been completely shaken up over this conversation, to the point that I have written a review, which I would never do otherwise. Be wary of Nicole. I was exceptionally nice when they did not show up to my house, but in return, I got an earful when they had to wait over a weekend for their payment. more

I am the owner of this business and citysearch has had our information incrrect for months. They have an incorrect phone number belonging to someone else. This is what they have : Bee Catchers Inc., 818-758-3400! Not ours. Also, they have a review listed here that does not belong to our company. We have an exemplary rating from numerous sources and this review is only on the site! No where else. We take pride in our work. Just wanted to let you know that I made a call to this company and I really disturbed by the result. All I really wanted was have them pick up a hive contained in a bee box. I hase happy to pay their $175 fee - No strings attached. The female that answered the phone did not listen to my circumstances and made a lot of presumptions before letting me describe my specific needs. She assumed that I had no knowledge of bee-keeping and pontificated in an attempt to show how much smarter she was than me. Big ego, little or no customer service skills. I wanted to ""Save the Bees"" she wanted to stroke her own ego. Oh, and she hung up on me. Pathetic! Cons: No customer service skills. They hung up one me. more
