First of all I want to thank you -The Beauty Gate Salon & Day Spa for doing an amazing job . Elizabeth made my skin look beautiful and fresh, and eyebrows I love it . The hair stylist name Leta has done a wonderful job to my hair . Leta you are a professional that everyone wanted to have it . And Lilianna me and my sister enjoyed manicure very mach. You are the best in city. I'm looking forward to do a massage :)You guys are the best professionals , I finally found my Salon :) more

I have been a client of this spa for 7 years and I absolutely would not go any where else! Elizabeth has always worked with me closely to clear up my skin from adult acne and just right in time to make me look amazing for my wedding in 2011. Not to mention that Elizabeth and lilliana do eyebrows to die for, I travel an hour just to have them done. I also have to mention that Leta the hair stylist has done a wonderful job with color correction x 2 from previous hair dyes gone wrong. I strongly recommend this salon and spa to anyone. The great staff and professionalism makes anyone feel as if your getting a makeover right in your own home! Love you guys and keep up the great work. more

I went for a deep tissue massage today and had Liliana as my masseuse and she was amazing! She did exactly what I asked for unlike some that I have gone to. She definitely relieved a lot of pain I was experiencing in my lower back and she was very personable and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely go back again and have Liliana for a deep tissue massage! Thank you! more

The Beauty Gates Salon & Day Spa staff is always client focused from the minute you walk through the door. They are friendly, caring, and professional each and every time you visit. Any service provided is completed in a relaxing comfortable environment, and with talented professionals. You will never leave disappointed or unhappy with the services provided because of the amazing staff and management team. The Eyebrow Magician 2/16/2012

Sadly, my eyebrow specialist moved to Boston but referred me to Elizabeth. Although hesitant (I've had some pretty bad experiences) I made my appointment and followed through. Needless to say, Elizabeth did not disappoint. She completely reshaped my eyebrows and did so with such precision. She is great and I will recommend her to all my friends! more

Tanya=Amazing 2/2/2012

Growing up, i only had one hairdresser ever cut my hair, just because i would not trust anyone else. Over the years i've grown tired of the same cut over and over again,and i was ready to step outside of my bubble; and i don't regret it at all!!!!! What Tanya did to my hair was incredible! it was what i always wanted, and i've been going back there ever since. She truly is talented and amazing, and i am so glad that she is there for my hair! :) more

My 3 year search for a hairdresser is over :) 1/29/2012

I have lived here a little over 3 years and have tried spas in Northampton, Westfield, Somers CT etc and not a single one of them has ever given me a cut or color worth going back to them for. Tanya is amazing, she knows what shes talking about and is honest in what she think will or will not look good for you. She is patient and does an amazing job! I refuse to look anywhere else:) Everyone that answers the phone or works in the spa iwca pleasure to deal with and make you feel relaxed and at home!! Love this place! more

The Hairdresser That Listens 1/28/2012

I came to Beauty Gate over a year ago when I received a Gift Certificate and I have found a ""pearl"" on Riverdale Road. I have Tanya as my hairdresser and I couldn't be happier. She is knowledgeable in all the aspects of color and cut and continually attends classes to keep up with the latest in color and cuts. She listens to your requests and adds her experience and knowledge to the conversation in a way that shows she cares and is willing to suggest the ""best"" for you. She is definitely a ""keeper"" ! I schedule my next appointment when I am there so I can have her as my hairdresser. more

Travel from Washington DC just for Elizabeth! 12/18/2011

I have been a loyal client of Elizabeth's since I was 13 years old and had my first eye brow wax. The results have always been amazing! About 4 years ago I had to move from the area to South Florida for work. I tried hundreds of salons and no one even compared to the quality of work that Elizabeth did. I looked like a completely different person with the horrible job that everyone else did compared to the work that Elizabeth did. About 6 months ago I moved to Washington DC- huge city with tons of salons. Again, after many visits to many salons (and paying up to $30 for an eyebrow wax!). I had enough, I called my mom back home almost in tears and asked her to make me an appointment with Elizabeth and that I am buying a plane ticket just so that she can fix the disaster that my eye brows had become! And ,of coarse, Elizabeth came through and made my eyebrows (and really my entire face) look amazing again. I now fly back home once a month to have Elizabeth work her magic! Truly, she is an expert - you really don't know what you are missing until you try Elizabeth- you will be hooked! more

Terrific Day at the Spa 5/5/2011

A dear friend and I went on a weekend getaway and planned our very first spa day as part of our R&R. The people at Beauty Gate, especially Elizabeth, Liliana, and Sean, were absolutely wonderful. We scheduled a full range of services: facials, massages, waxing, manicures, pedicures, you name it. Every service was performed with care, kindness, and professionalism. They even stayed well beyond closing time to make sure we received all the services we wanted. Although we have nothing with which to compare it, since this was our very first ""day of beauty,"" I'm sure other places will have a hard time living up to this experience. Now that we know what a day of pampering can feel like, we plan to repeat it when we can. We don't live near the area, so it will be hard to go back there. But, given the chance, we would make the trip. It's definitely worth it. Thank you, Beauty Gate, for a wonderful day. more

Best Facial I Have Ever Had 5/3/2011

Truly, Elizabeth at Beauty Gate gives *the best* facials I have ever had in my life, by a long shot. Every time, without fail, I am falling in and out of consciousness throughout the appointment because it is so amazingly relaxing. She is just fantastic. I have some major skin problems, including acne and milia, and she is one of the rare spa aestheticians out there who knows how to do proper European extraction (my dermatologist won't even take the time out to do them for me). That part isn't necessarily fun, but Elizabeth always makes sure to relax you before and after the extraction process with products that just smell wonderful and leave you feeling great. I hear Elizabeth also does a fabulous job with eyebrows as well, although I haven't yet gone to her for that. more

Best Massage & Facial I've Ever Had! 10/21/2010

I've been under a lot of stress with work and buying a new home and my face was broken out so bad I felt like I was a teenager again I had to get a facial just to detoxify. Lilianna worked an acne facial miracle followed by the best massage I've ever had (seriously). She took her time, I was so relaxed I could have easily fallen asleep and my face feels soooo clean! How refreshing. I will definitely be back :) more

Great place to feel like a princess for the day! 9/3/2009

My experiences at the Beauty Gate Salon & Day Spa have been fantastic. I am usually not one to write reviews, but for this quaint and European inspired place I had too! I have already been there 4 times and believe me, all the other places I've been are nothing compared to the experience I had here. You get pampered from the minute you walk in the door! I really felt like a princess. A wonderful girl named Dorothy did an amazing job with my hair, it hasn't been this healthy since I was much younger. And Lilanna has done my eyebrows and nails, oh what a beautiful job he did. My next venture is to treat myself to a massage on my birthday in October! Oh I can't wait! Please do try this salon, and you will not be disappointed! Pros: Best Salon in Westen Mass! Cons: Maybe a little pricey, but discounts on online newsletter more

Excellent Hair Stylist 9/2/2009

I have been going to Beauty Gate since May for my hair cuts and I have been nothing but pleased. I see Dorothy and she has always been very professional and helpful. I am always more than satisfied with my haircut and I get nothing but compliments from friends and family. I highly recommend that every goes to see Dorothy, she is the best stylist in the area in my opinion! Pros: Courteous, Clean, Professional, Timely more

I FOUND HEAVEN TODAY 8/29/2009

The people were timely, friendly and professional. The spa was clean and the employees really did an excellent job. I have been hurting ever since I got hurt last year. This is the first time the massage gave me such relief. The indivdiual was a male, but he did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. He really knew what he was doing. The facial was fantastic as well and I truly felt rejuvinated when I was done. They won't talk to you if you just want to chill. The nicest touch was when I was leaving, my hair was a mess so the stylist automatically offered to fix my hair for free so that I wouldn't leave looking like I just woke up. Awesome Spa 5/18/2009

I have never had such a wonderful experience. I believe that the most important thing in a business is customer services, well this Spa really takes care of you. I will definitely be back for more services and will highly recommend this place. All the girls take good care of me and are were so happy to do so, which says alot of the owner. If you want happy employees treat them well, and this is why they can give such excellent~ professional service. Pros: Best service ever more
