Dr. Lewis is a fine dr. and I saw him multiple times. However his office staff is less than exemplary and has made a complete mess of billing. They have been very impolite and unhelpful and have drug out, what should have been a very straightforward and simple billing situation, for over a year and a half! I had coverage when I went to see Dr. Lewis on March 31, 2012. They billed the wrong insurance company over and over again and ended up sending me to collections, even though the mistake was entirely theirs. By doing so they were (and still are) in breach of their insurance contract.\r

I continued to communicate with them and my insurance company every 30-45 days about the situation and was still sent to collections, as though I'd been uncooperative and unresponisve. Neither I or the insurance company has heard from Dr. Lewis directly. I worked with the insurance to reopen the claim and allow them to resubmit and as of Oct 14, 2013 the claim was paid. However, they haven't processed the check and have still not removed the collection notice. According to them they haven't had time to go through the mail!!! I'm shocked at the incompetence and lack of assistance I've received from them in this manner. \r

I would NEVER recommend Beaumont Vision because of the nightmare they've put me through.
