I recently received a bill for services rendered over 2 years ago. I tried calling the number on the statement on 4 different occasions and waited over 20 minutes each time before hanging up. I finally reached a real person and found out it's not even the right phone number as they ""have a new billing company."" When I tried explaining my frustration regarding the extended wait times and having to call yet another number after already wasting an hour and a half of my life, the woman (named Wendy) cut me off rudely mid sentence. When I got a hold of the billing company, they said the bill wasn't even on the books! What a scam! If I had simply sent a check, I'd never have known, and likely would never have seen my money again. My advice would be to double check anything you receive from Pacific Pathology. And if your question is regarding a bill, don't bother calling PPA; dial 866-587-6731. As someone with immediate family in the medical industry, the raging incompetence of PPA in terms of service and billing leads to obvious questions about their medical competence.
