Friendly and helpful 7/24/2010

Bayport Flower Houses has a wide selection of plants, pottery and garden gifts. The staff is friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. You are always greeted with a smile and when it's not too busy are even treated to a personal shopping experience. As far as the floral department goes, if you have the imagination their designers can create it. If you need plant advice, something for the garden or just a simple bouquet Bayport Flower Houses is the place to visit. more

bad way to run a business 7/8/2010

After a few unreturned phone calls, we went to Bayport Flower House w/ some pictures to get an estimate. The man told us he couldn't see the pictures ( um, what?). Then he said the flower season was over and we'd have trouble getting someone out to our house. Will not recommend them to anyone and will spread this story of unhelpfulness to anyone who asks, and maybe even those who don't. Terrible way to run a business. more

Lovely but expensive. 4/1/2006

This nursery on Montauk highway truly has it all for the avid gardnener. They have bulbs, annuals, bushes, trees, you name it! They also have water features, statuary and all types of decorative items for your garden and yard. They are family owned and operated by Bayport residents. The down side is the prices. You can almost always get a better deal on the same or similar item elsewhere. The service it top notch, and the staff is very knowledgable. A good choice if money is no object. more
