PART I: Moved from out of state, rented apartment at Bayou Oaks. Over phone, staff was cordial. spoke of the park with a pond not in Bayou Oaks. Signed a 6 month lease, during which time I would search for a suitable home to purchase . Apartment was unsuitable., (actually slept in the car a couple of nights?air quality was causing asthma attacks) . I stepped up my search for housing due to the conditions of the apartment. I found something quickly Built-in penalties for lease termination brought my 2 month stay in a dumpy old apartment to $2535 .. Now they want another $150 cleaning fee?Brandy clearly stated ?We don?t have a cleaning fee.? . My residency was cut short because the apartment quality was so far below the price I was being charged. These apartments are old and poorly maintained. The only reason they have had high occupancy is because of a shortage of apartments there That is rapidly changing. Who owns these anyway? \r
