Bath & Brush Pet Grooming

i had been taking my rescue there for a couple years. but only because a friend worked there but he/she is long gone. but before that person left they showed me some pics and videos and shared some stories about that place and all the verbal abuse the owner does to her workers. shes got an ex-con bathing dogs, a 400 pound mess of a woman LIVING there, and i heard from a few other friends that used to go there that there dogs come home with ticks or bites marks from other dogs. this friend of mine says he/she doesnt wanna post the videos online because he/she doesnt wanna get involved. needless to say i will NEVER BE BACK! more

Bath and Brush was discovered several years ago after numerous bad experiences with groomers. We currently live with 2 dogs and 3 cats, all rescues; we consider Pat a valuable resource, since she is trained as a veterinary tech, knows all of the local vets and referred us to our current vet.Our animals all live long lives and no expense is ever spared concerning their care. The dogs greatly prefer the play pen Pat provides over the crate or leash fastened to the wall experienced in other places they were groomed. Pat never restrains their heads as other groomer routinely do. The other reviews on this site in no way portray my experiences with Bath and Brush. There ARE occasional accidents, but in a room full of young and old animals, some of which are newly without homes, CUT HER SOME SLACK! DON'T SWEAT THE SMALL STUFF AND ITS ALL SMALL STUFF!!! more

I stopped in to get my dogs nails trimmed, and an XXXL woman came out wearing stained paints and flip flops with animal matter on the bottom as well as on her feet!!!! OMG, as she drooped to her knees I noticed over a quarter of an inch of dog poop on her foot, and oh I almost forgot to mention she offered to extract my dogs anal gland. I consented and I had to hold back from throwing up as I watched her do so bare handed and wipe the extraction on her pant leg. I have never witnessed this type of behavior in my life anywhere but there. more

The owner's heart is in the right place. She is the most loving, nurturing person to animals as well as human beings. However, the grooming is sub standard, the shop is filthy and it is very difficult to spend a minute in the place before you start to gag because of the stench. It really saddens me because no one loves animals more than this lady but her shop needs much improvement. I stopped taking my dog there and felt really bad about it. But felt even worse when I would pick her up and the grooming was something to be desired. My dog also seemed agitated because of the chaotic environment. I have since found a place that is clean, spacious and had a much more of a calming atmosphere with a decent haircut to boot! :( more

Very dirty, lost my pets leashes. My car interior got covered with dog feces that was on my dogs paws. My dogs were so so thirsty when they go home. Never again. Pros: Cheap Cons: Dirty, crowded conditions more
