with having children in school Barnes & nobles has one of the best book selection for them to read. they can go in and sit in a reading area and look thought books to find the one...

Excellent bookstore 10/10/2006

This is a great store for any reading material. Whether it's books or magazine they have it all. It's a very cozy place the book store is very big and they have a customer service desk so you don't have to look around for someone to help you. more

Barnes & Noble 10/4/2006

Barnes and Noble is a fabulous store, I can get lost in there for hours on end! I like that they have a cafe. The staff is very helpful and its easy to find what your looking for. They have a wonderful children section and a great cookbook section. more

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE WE LOVE THIS STORE THEY HAVE SO MANY BOOKS IN THERE I CAN SPEND THE WHOLE DAY IN THERE THE KIDS LOVE IT MY OLDER DAUGHTER LOVES TO READ SO SHE LOVE IT SINCE THEY HAVE SUCH A LARGE VARIETY. more

Books, Books and More Books 10/2/2006

Barnes & Noble is a huge store, that carries books for everyone in the family. The childrens section downstairs is one of the largest and well stocked that I have ever seen. more

with having children in school Barnes & nobles has one of the best book selection for them to read. they can go in and sit in a reading area and look thought books to find the ones they need more

My kids love spending as much time as we can in the kids section..The kids section is well organized and has plenty of reading areas....Smart...They also placed the bathroom on the same floor... more

Summer Reading 9/29/2006

My daughter is a freshman this year at south city high. before summer started, she was assigned to read a book for summer and do a project with it. It's pretty hard to get kids to read during the summer so we came here to read the book together. Its a nice place to relax and just enjoy each others company. The staff were terefic because they let us read the book off the shelf!! always clean and staff are awesome more

Fun for the Kids 9/29/2006

We always go here to the children's section downstairs. My youngest daughter loves the story time while the oldest looks at books. I enjoy spending time with them here and we alll look for books to buy. more

Barnes & noble in San Bruno is great it is huge they have a large are for music and books. They have a nice large kids area downstairs it has a great set up. more

Convenient, But Not Huge 9/20/2006

This Barnes & Noble benefits from being part of the newly refinished "Shops at Tanforan" shopping center. Parking out front tends to be slim pickings, but there is plenty of parking if you take time to look for it (try the garage around the back of the mall, and just make the walk).\r \r It's a very nice, two-story building, with a nice coffee shop inside, but despite its two-story nature, its footprint is fairly small and it's not a very large B&N (especially not compared to the one down in San Mateo on Hillsdale). In particular, I was fairly disappointed in their selection of programming languages books -- though I realize that's a bit of a niche interest. PROS: Convenient location at 101/280/380 intersection. CONS: Smallish B&N, limits selection for niche interests. more
