Barnes & Noble Booksellers

I must agree with the rest of the posts here. B&N does have a very large variety of books, and the atmosphere is very pleasing. \r There is one problem that I can not ignore. The prices are way to high and their book club membership is also miss-leading. I purchase mainly Tech. help books, when I was sold the membership I was informed that I would be showered with coupons that could save me a lot of money on purchases. This is true except B&N decides what type of books a person can use the coupons on. The person that sold me the membership lead me into thinking that I could use the coupons on any of the books I wanted to purchase. After writing and calling B&N main office and the store, I have come to realise that my opinion does not matter much to them concerning the membership. That is why I am a Boarders Book store customer now, They have better prices, a better selection of books, plus their membership is FREE! Not $25.00. more

I love Barnes and Noble for their selection and comfort. It can be very relaxing to go and look around and then lounge in their chairs in the many different lounging areas in the store. They also have an in-store Starbucks, which is nice. As always, prices may be a bit higher than the Target or Wal-Mart, but you do have a greater selection and comfort. I like this store. Big but lots of assitance and help. I was looking for specific books and received lots of assitance and ideas. Like the cozy atmosphere. I like when they have an author come for book signings. The children were very excited to meet an author. more

This is a particularly nice Barnes and Noble, but as always, the prices are higher than most other book sources. They do have the Starbuck cafe which is a nice touch. They also have a great selection and very helpful staff. I guess that is why they can charge the big bucks. more

I love this store. They have an excellent selection of books. I love their kids book area. It is bright and colorful with little tables and chairs for the kids to sit down and read at. The books in the kids section are plentiful and very organized so it's easy to find what your looking for. The store is organized and neat for such a huge store and it's usually easy to find what your looking for - but if you can't they have an information desk in the center of the store. They have several sections of clearance books at great prices. And there is a Starbucks for you coffee drinkers. more

I always have a great time in Barnes & Noble. When I was preparing for my wedding, I would spend hours at one of their tables or chairs reading and getting ideas. They also have a huge magazine selection. My favorite part is the mini Starbuck's because I can sip on my favorite drink while I browse. more

I love going to Barnes and Noble to browse through all their wonderful books and music. The big huge comfy chairs they have for you to read in makes it feel like home. The book selection is fantastic, and if they don't have something, they will order it for you. They usually have the best sellers section on sale for 30-40% off retail price. They are wonderful about recommending books. more
