My brother was visiting from out of town and we went to the a Sunday Cubs game. We walked down Clark Street and this club was playing ""uncut"" hip hop music and had a sign with a pretty good deal on it. We thought it would be a nice place to grab a drink and a bite. So my brother and I tried to enter but the bouncer stopped us and said my brother had on shorts and couldn't get in...My brother had on a polo and shorts and he was neatly dressed. Ok this is Aug 8th at about 4pm? Why are shorts inappropriate? So we peered inside the bar and the first guest at the bar had on shorts as did many other young men. So we said those people have on shorts. Then the bouncer said yes, but yours are baggy. MY BROTHERS SHORTS WERE NOT BAGGY AT ALL! This was all about us not getting in because we were black and my brother has dreadlocks. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS RACIST PLACE. Its sad that discrimination and racial profiling exist. I mean get real? How are you going to be blasting cursing hip hop music and be a bar by Wrigley Field and deny someone who wore shorts to the game because they are black. We took several pictures of all the people who were ""wearing shorts"". Anyway, I was so embarrassed that this happened during my brother's visit but we just went to another great bar who would accept money from black people and had a blast! :P more

The first trip I made to Chicago included a stop at Bar Celona...and I've made it a must stop for every return trip to the city! The wait staff was super friendly, we had gotten there before the late night hour rush hit, but they still made sure to check on us. Plus, the sangria's really are the best!! more
