Dr. Barbara Barnett is a Family Medicine physician at Kelsey-Seybold. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 1974 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, where she also completed her Master of Arts in 1976. In 1979, she completed her medical degree at Des Moines University, Medicine and Health Sciences, formerly the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Iowa. She completed her family medicine residency at University of Iowa/Mason City Family Residency Program in 1982.
Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Barnett treats patients of all ages. She provides wellness exams and annual physicals, as well as treats acute and chronic medical conditions, like commons colds, flu and COVID-19 symptoms, diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol. Dr. Barnett focuses on educating her patients about their treatment and preventive measures to allow them to make better and healthier choices.
