bad service 3/15/2011

I had an experience in Oregon Banfield clinic. So I moved to Tracy recently and took my 4 months old puppy to get his shot to Banfield clinic in Tracy,CA I was shocked the way they treated my puppy and they were rude to me. It seemed to me people who work over there don't like pets at all. I wouldn't recommend this vet to anybody. Such unprofessional service. more

Worst vet EVER. 1/26/2011

I took my VERY healthy flat-coat retriever to this quack for annual vaccinations. The first thing he did was HURT my dog during the initial examination. Then, the vet had a quick glance in my dogs mouth and told me he needed a thorough cleaning. He wanted more than $400 for the procedure without every really justifying it. My poor dog, whose teeth were in EXCELLENT condition as per every other vet we took him to, was trembling as a result of this jerk's abusive handling. He tried to bully my wife into getting the tooth cleaning, but I spoke up and told him he was not laying a finger on my dog. We immediately left. This guy is TERRIBLE! more

Rude Vet, Unprofessional 3/2/2010

My dog was a stray that someone had found in a Target parking lot. The person that found the dog that now belongs to my family put up flyers for three weeks and no one ever claimed him. She knew my family was interested in adopting a dog and we were more than happy to have him. I took him to see the vet at Banfield within a week of having him to make sure he was healthy and to get his shots scheduled. The vet was extremely rude. The dog was a little underweight and his ears were dirty. This man gave me the biggest lecture of my life (like he was my parent) about being responsible and giving the doctor proper care. I explained that he was a stray and I had brought him to the vet to make sure he was in good health. He continue to berate me about the dog's ears. I left there feeling horrible. Then I realized he was the person with the problem, not me. My family and I had done a good thing by taking the dog in and giving him a loving home. I will never, ever recommend this vet to anyone. more

Bad, ver bad 2/25/2010

We have had very good experiences with other Banfield Pet Hospitals. Unfortunately, this one is not on the same level. The nurses are kind, but the veterinarian and practice owner, Mr. Kuppe Nagaraj, is the rudest vet we have found ever.\r \r Our dog is a very important part of our family. We want the best for him and we provide him the best care available. Recently moved to Tracy, we took our dog to the Banfield Hospital here to have a routine check. We were told the dog was perfect but he needed a minor intervention due to a common problem.\r \r Everything was OK for us until this point. We ask politely to talk with the veterinarian in order to know more about the intervention needed and its causes. It was a nasty surprise to meet Mr. Nagaraj, who appeared to be offended by our interest in have more information. He acted nervously, irritated, almost shouting, and in this attitude of "I am the Doctor-God, you are too ignorant".\r \r The overall tone was very rude for us. The worst part was more

Banfield The Pet Hospital Tracy - Don't go to this VET 9/6/2009

I've been to several Banfield clinics in two other states and take my cat there to have her nails clipped. I have never ever received such unprofessional, rude and offensive service from the vet himself ever in the 14 years I have had my cat. My cat has several serious medical issues and see's a specialist for her treatment, therefore if she is in need of a nail trim and not a visit to her vet I've used Banfield in the past with no problems and excellent customer service. I just moved to Tracy California and the Vet was very defensive when he continually asked me questions regarding who provides my cat medical care and why? He seemed to be forcing the point that he could see/treat my cat and he was determined in a very defensive corrosive tone to outline how qualified he is and that in his exact words "We are a full service hospital and not just here for nail clipping." Of course his statement was after his vet tech ran my credit card for the services. Shocked and thoroughly feeli more
