Banfield Pet Hospital Rohnert Park - A Great Vet Clinic! 3/22/2012

We highly recommend Banfield Pet Hospital in Rohnert Park. We've taken our dog to Banfield since we got him twelve years ago. The vets have changed a few times iover hte years, but the care has always been great. The clinic has recently been remodeled and there is a new vet who has replaced Dr. Kundra, who was suffering with cancer. (We had no problems with Dr. Kundra ourselves. The Banfield Plans have saved us thousands of dollars over the years. Yes, you may have to continue to pay after your pet dies (always read what you sign up for!), but only if you have used services that exceed the amount of what you have paid within that particular year. Our dog is older now, and as he has aged, we have gone from the basic plan to the next plan (for dental) and now to the top-tier plan so that he can now get x-rays. YOU WILL SAVE EVERY TIME YOU TAKE YOU PET IN! We weren't in good financial shape when we first got our dog, but Banfield allowed us to make sure we could always afford his o more

ROPO BANFIELD WORST EVER 7/6/2010

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR PET TO BANFIELD IN ROHNERT PARK.\r They let my dog die and are charging me a whole year of their "wellness" plan. They vet there is the absolute worst "doctor" i have ever met. He is demeaning and rude to his nurses. He is mean and rude my dog and me. NEVER GO TO BANFIELD ROHNERT PARK FOR ANYTHING.\r \r I had a great experience with other Banfield locations, but this guy, Dr. Kundra Kudlip, is a complete jerk and shouldn't be working with the public or animals. \r \r So please, out of respect for my dead dog and the suffering she went through, don't go to rohnert park banfield. Wonderful and caring Doctor 12/17/2009

I am a former employee of Dr. Kundra and assisted him for over two years and I have never worked for a better person. He is a caring individual who always puts the animals best interests first. He has been in business for over 35 years in his own private practice as well as joining the Banfield Corporation. When we examine a pet and he comes across a possible problem with the pet we always print up an estimate that the nurses very carefully go over the client with, and they have every right to disagree and refuse services. We do not discriminate against any client that decides not to continue with the care. As far as the pricing goes we do not ""come up"" with these, they are preset in the computer system by the Banfield Corporation and Dr. Kundra has to follow thier guidelines. He is a very professional doctor and always puts the animals interests first possibly that is why the disgruntled clients feel that he is rude, he is only looking out for the pet. I continue to bring my animals to Dr. Kundra and will continue to do so until he retires. more

STAY AWAY! Dr. Kundra is AWFUL!!! 7/24/2009

Dr. Kundra is incredibly unprofessional, RUDE and inconsiderate of his staff. He has been seen YELLING at customers as well as YELLING at this staff. His own staff members has called him an ""A**hole"" to other customers. DO NOT take your animals to this Dr. or this office if you love your pets! Trust me, he will not treat you with respect and does NOT take good care of animals in his care. His office is dirty and his staff are uneducated! Banfield should be ashamed to have Dr. Kundra working for him. more

banfield in rohnert park is.... 7/13/2009

I would not recommend this clinic to other people. Dr. Kundra has attempted to give my dog antibiotics that do not work and would not work for her infection, and when i questioned him and attempted to correct his obvious error he began yelling at me in front of other clients and made note in my chart I was uncooperative and refused treatment for my animal. I learned of this when my dog's medical records were transferred to another vet. He never remembers me or my dog or seems to care or know what he was doing. Not only that he has poorly trained his staff and they do not seem to know what they are doing. Only one gal (gina) has ever made any attempt to remember me or my animal or try to do things right. more

Friends gave bad reviews 11/10/2008

I havent actually had my dogs seen at this clinic but I've been to the petsmart and seen the place. I wasnt that all impressed. I've been asking around what vet clinic to go to for my dog and have been told nurmerous times to stay away from this clinic. That they charge a lot and that people dont trust the Veterinarian. So sadly I stay away from this Clinic more

This is a ridiculous Vet! 5/22/2008

I brought my dog in to see Dr Kundra and when I wanted to know in detail the results of the work he did, IE: the fecal test he said he was going to do it next time I bring in a sample, even though my invoice reflects it was done. He is very short on his work and I no longer trust him with my animals. He actually began to yell at me for not paying attention to him the first time he explained himself regarding medication my dog was to take. On top of things he treats his staff of girls terrible! And, we were waiting for a long time with an appointment and were rushed out the door with hundreds of dollars owed. I will never return. more

This branch of Banfield isn't quite as good 9/1/2005

We've been Banfield customers for years, so when we moved to Rohnert Park I was delighted to find that there was a Banfield in the community. Unfortunately, this one doesn't compare to the two other Bay Area Banfields where we took our little dog for care. I think the facility is older, it's not as clean and well cared for. It's just not as uplifting as the others, and I've had to wait longer to see the vet, even with an appointment. It makes me wonder if they're cutting costs somewhere and that's affecting service. So far I think the care is very good, and that's most important, and the prices are reasonable because of Banfield's wellness plans where you can pay a certain amount monthly and get a lot of stuff included in that, plus a discount on other services. But I don't know if we'll renew our dog's service plan when the time comes. It depends on what else is available in this community and how it compares in terms of quality and price. more
