Ordered several types of sushi, and sashimi, (to go); all of excellent quality, texture, and taste. Slightly pricey, but well worth it! I would highly recommend! :)

By far the best sushi place I have ever been to. At one point RA Sushi was my favorite but since the first week Banbu came to town, I have not been able to go a week without it. When you walk in , the place speaks for itself. I mean a rock fire pit, green plants, water fountains, and exquisite paintings is what you can expect! It's probably the nicest restaurant La Mesa has to offer. more

Good sushi, great vibe 10/7/2011

I enjoy Banbu. Living out in East County, not a whole lot of good sushi, except for Banbu. It's really fresh, and the prices are good. But the best part is the ambiance! Definitely does not feel like we're in La Mesa eating sushi! more
