I have a card from Steven I. Ball from October 1982 when I was a college student at I.U. I remember my visit -- he was very personable and friendly. Since then, when I tell people about an optometrist named "Steve I. Ball" in Eastland Plaza off 3rd Street, I'm sure they think I'm making it up. I found the card today while shredding old papers, but I think I'm keeping the card for just a little while longer. I'm glad to see that he's still in practice and doing great things for the field.
