I love to see this historic house all decorated at Christmas. The trees are just beautiful. For as long as I can remember they have been decorating this place for the holidays. It is worth the drive to see all the trees. The inside of the house is breathtaking. I am so glad people have a chance to look into the rich historic past of Meadville. more

Very nicely decorated at Christmastime 12/16/2005

The Baldwin Reynolds house is a very historically significant building in Meadville. I however, not being much of a history buff, didn't find it to be very exciting. There are tour guides to explain what it was like living there all those years ago. Of course they also explain the historical significicance of the house and the roles the owners played in the community. At Christmas time there is the added interest of all the many Christmas trees they put up and decorate lavishly. If you are a history buff you will probably enjoy it anytime of the year. If not I suggest you make your visit over the holidays. more

A bit of History 11/20/2005

The Baldwins Reynolds House is a very interesting piece of history that is located in Meadville. They offer tours of the house for groups and are also open during the Christmas Holidays. When you do an educational tour, they take you throughout the house telling about all the rooms and who stayed in them. The house is still set up as if someone lived in it today. During Christmas, they set up trees in the rooms so you can see all the splendor of that too. They have old fashioned decorations and some new ones on the trees that are always beautiful. I always enjoy going through the house everytime I get a chance to go. more

Great old house 9/27/2005

This is a great old house that has been turned into a museum. There is so much history in this house it is hard to describe. Around the holidays they do a fabulous Christmas tree display. And the rumors are it is haunted. Check it out and see for yourself. I have been there and all I can say is.you have to see it to believe it. more
