This group hires teens for cash who are not trained, or always clean, and who do not care about the food eaten by customers. Bouncing checks around the community is not a good example, especially if they expect customers to trust the quality of their food. There are other places on Bainbridge to eat, and most of them are cleaner by far. You're now warned. more

A Hidden Treasure 10/9/2007

There is a treasure tucked away and hidden in a plethora of cute little shops on Bainbridge Island, and that is Bainbridge Baker's. It offers just what I need to start my day- delicious, fresh-baked pastry delicacies, a cozy, friendly environment complete with highly comfortable seating and a constantly wonderful staff. I can't decide what's better- to treat a group of friends to a small party of pastries, coffee and reminiscing, to come with just one friend and we'll talk for hours, or to come alone, with just myself and a novel I can burrow into. Whatever way I come to Bainbridge Bakers, I never cease to enjoy myself. This is a delightful bakery. more

You want pie 8/17/2006

Been going to this bakery for several years and am always pleased with my choices! I rely on them for deliciously incredible pies and baked goods that are mouthwatering. Blueberry scones? Strawberry-Rhubarb pie? The best! This is a "can't miss" place, but get there early on the weekends, the pastries go fast! Did I forget that they have lunch items? If you want a bite of lunch and a friendly atmosphere to share with a friend or family member, or, have business to discuss, this is a casual, easy atmosphere for all of the above. It keeps us coming back for more, so they must be doing something right! more

Bainbridge Bakers 4/23/2006

This is known as 'the island's famous bakery'. Why, I do not know. They offer the same variety as other bakeries, only the price is a little higher. This is, after all, Bainbridge. Their shortbread cookies are the best. This is a nice place to stop and rest your weary feet after walking around. more

Great Sunday Morning Spot 3/21/2006

What a treasure on Bainbridge! Bainbridge Bakers is a great spot to sit and take in the quaintness of this beautiful island. They have amazing coffee and their baked goods are to die for. Our boys love the multigrain pullaparts (they also have them full of jam) and their cookies have a seasonal flair. Prices are decent and the atmosphere is great, whether sitting inside or enjoying the outdoor seating. more
