Best pizza I have found so far! I moved away but go back every chance I get. Haven't found a better pizza yet and I've travelled quite a bit. more

Babe's Pizza-Fresh is best 12/24/2002

The food is excellent, the staff is always quick to help you and the kids (and adults) love to watch them make the pizza's and the train move around the room overhead. This is the best pizza around and would recommend Babe's Pizza to anyone! Home of the Double-Decker! Pros: Reasonable pricing, excellent food, excellent service Cons: Needs more parking more

The best pizza in the Bay 11/9/2002

I've been searching for a great, locally owned pizza place in the Bay. I've found it with Babe's. The service is great, the pizza is the best. Crust is nice and crisy, sauce is so tasty. The only problem is that it is a small location and it is so popular! Couple that with few other pizza choices in Brandon, and you can wait a long time, especially Friday and Saturday night. The wait is worth it! Pros: Sauce, Crust, Service Cons: Limited Seating, Very busy some nites more

I lived in Brandon from 91 - 94. Being from Chicago it was hard to fine ""Real Pizza"". I found that at Babes. It was the freshest and best tasting Pizza in Florida. I still miss the semll and hhaving the kids watch the model train run on its track around the upper restaurant. It is the best. Pros: Great Taste, Good Value, Great service Cons: Limited parking, Crowded, more room more

Babes pizza is the best I have tasted in the Brandon area. The pizza is unique in that it a double decker style pizza (2 layers of crust and toppings). Pizza Patron Provides Promise 8/13/2002

I have been going to Babes Pizza for over 20 years. Any time that I have been a way for any length of time, I have always missed Babes. I ask for Babes for my Birthday. My wife calls Babes my ""happiest place on earth"". But, I will say this... IT IS A PIZZA! I mean hey it is yummy, but... it is still a pizza. Don't expect to be dazzled by the decor... and expect to wait... Heres a TIP! Call for a pick up! You may still have the same wait, but better to wait at home than at the resturaunt. I personally think the pizza is better after it has cooled down a little. Pros: Great pizza, great pizza, good service Cons: bad parking, long wait more

I grew up in Brandon Fl. I now live in Ohio and I miss the ""double-decker"" pizza so very much. In Ohio there is no place like this one. I would give them a 10 for everything. I am coming to Fl in August and plan to go to Babe's the night I get there!!!! more

Bad Babe!!! 5/26/2002

I decided to visit Babe's Pizza based on several good reviews I read regarding their pizza. Boy, were they wrong!!! The service was good, but the restaurant was very small, making the wait long and agonizing. When the pizza finally arrived, I was thoroughly dissatisfied. The crust was hard, thin, and tasteless. The pizza sauce was bitter, acidic, and salty. I would suggest avoiding this place at all cost! Your stomach will thank you. Pros: good service, welcoming atmosphere Cons: terrible food, long wait, no parking more
