I hate going to this place. It seems that everytime that I go to take my car in, they find something that urgently needs to be fixed and I end up having to spend another $1000. ...

Overpriced and aweful service 5/4/2017

We liked the experience of buying the car, the salesman was fantastic, but this review is in response to their aweful and overpriced service center. We brought our car in for spark plugs, BMW claimed oil leaks damaged them and it would cost 5k to fix leaks (however, we never had oil drips under our car, or a low oil light suggesting any major leaks). When we got our car back, oil was litterally pouring out of our engine. We took the car back to BMW, they said it would cost 5k to fix again. Don't go here, SHENANIGANS!!! more

LIARS 9/21/2015

I bought a car from this dealership from out of state. The sales guy told me IN WRITING that the car was in EXCELLENT condition. I asked specifically to please tell me all of the imperfections of the car since I am buying sight unseen and I am solely relying on him to tell me about the car. When the car showed up at my house, excellent condition was not the case. Both rear door panels have hole punctures in them - from what, I have no idea. Also, the right door panel looks like it was previously fixed and now the "fix" is failing. There is a pretty big door ding on the rear door panel above the tire well; this was not disclosed either. The driver seatbelt is twisted to the point where the seat belt needs to be removed from the insert of the car and twisted back around to be correct. Does this sound like an excellent condition car? No it is not. And are they taking any responsibility for the things that I have pointed out to them that I have in writing stating that the car is in excellent condition, NO they have not. more

Really great experience 5/14/2014

My wife an I just bought a new BMW from BMW of Bellevue and I have to say the experience was a bliss....Our CA Len was the best, always available through email with prompt responses. We went for a testdrive with some friends initially and he was really friendly. He even took the time to deliver the car for us on his day off..... If you go there be sure to ask for Len! more

Please DO NOT buy from this dealership!! 5/13/2014

We bought a Brand new 2014 BMW X5 from the BMW of Bellevue dealership in December 2013 and we are highly dissatisfied with this dealership. This dissatisfaction is a result of our aggregate experience so far. We are writing this review, hoping that others will consider this before going to the dealership and more importantly they will improve this for future. The beginning of our experience with the Bellevue dealership was when we test drove the car and I have to say that was the only good experience. After that it all went downhill from there. The day we purchased the car, our salesperson David Ly was in a mad rush. He barely explained how to set up the bluetooth and then for everything else he handed us the fat manual. He did showed the feature in the car itself where you could learn about the features yourself. You do not expect this buying a luxury car. When we test drove I asked David that BMW Connect works on Android phones and he was quick to reply that it does. After we purchased, when I asked how do I use BMW Connect from my Android phone he said that he only knows about iPhone - we should try to figure it out ourselves. We found later that BMW Connect does not work on Android in North America. Needless to say our buying experience was bad. He topped it by just bluntly asking for five star review on feedback and referring him to our friends. Rest assured, this guy would never get our recommendation. Next day after the purchase, we got a low air pressure warning on the Right rear tire. We went to the dealership and had to wait for an hour. David was roaming around chatting with his peers but never bothered to stop by and ask, if there was a problem. A person filled up the tires and mentioned that happens during change of temperature - I was surprised because Seattle does not experience that high of a temperature fluctuation but thought maybe. UNBELIEVABLE CHARGES - Would rate zero if possible 1/8/2013

My wife took her X3 to BMW Bellevue for 60K mi service and was shocked with a $2450+ bill including rear brake replacement which was not needed or authorized. The 2010 labor rate was $132/hr plus 10% for "shop chemicals and disposal fees" = $145.20/hr plus 9.5% tax for a whopping $158.99/hr. She will never go back to BMW of Bellevue. Interesting that without the four 5 star ratings by John H the actual ratings would be 3 five star, 1 two star and 14 one star for an average 1.82 rating. If a zero rating were offered the average it would be significantly lower. more

Bellevue BMW the worst 10/30/2011

Hi there, I have a 335i 2008, I took the car to this dealer cause I was in washintong on a business trip, and let me tell u they have the worst customer service I have seen coming from a BMW dealer!! I have no idea how they still on business. Starting with the service manager it's a complete idiot, rude and no common scenes. Any way don't go there if u have the time just go to Seattle or some where else. more

Stealing in Service 6/3/2011

Nobody's perfect by stealing from the car you bring in service.... they took a $300 worth of sunglasses and the worse is that they would not do anything about it. they are not responsible.. it is written on the invoice! they "looked for the sunglasses" but they could not find them. So they would rather loose a customer. more

Excellent Service Dept 2/8/2011

BMW Bellevue overall provided me with FLAWLESS service/support. I live in Tacoma WA area and I normally take my BMW to BMW Fife. When my car began to malfunction, I called BMW Fife and their response was that there was a THREE WEEK waiting period before they could schedule me in. In my mind, that was unacceptable to wait that long to get my car into their shop. I have 2 cars, one that is my for my family (wife & two toddlers) and the other one is mine (the BMW) which I use to go to work. So overall, I need BOTH cars to be running well at all times. Once BMW Fife indicated they couldn’t support me right away, I called BMW Bellevue and Cliff took care of me immediately. Again, I was VERY IMPRESSED with how Bellevue took care of me all the way. It really made me feel good to have bought a BMW. I just wonder why there’s such a significant difference between BMW Bellevue and BMW Fife??? In my mind, BMW Bellevue has set a HIGH standard of overall service/support and BMW Fife is totally behind with mediocre service. more

Terrible experience with BMW of Bellevue 1/12/2011

This morning I dropped my Z4 to get Service Engine Soon issue resolved. They told me later that the issue was thermostat was malfunctioning. They have replaced thermostat and flushed and replaced the coolant. Also they recommended that the brake fluid needs to be replaced and they performed that one too. I picked the car in the evening. On the way to home car super heated and started warning and the dial was on red hot and flashing. At first exit I pulled the car over and called back the BMW Bellevue, they simply said Tow it back to them. While waiting for tow truck, I check the coolant level, there was absolutely NO COOLANT left in. Took pictures. How can they send the car with out coolant back to customer. Tomorrow, I am really interested how they are going to explain this. So the question is where is the best place to take your BMW for next time, it is not going to be this place definitely! more

Terrible 11/1/2010

Good: Nothing. Bad: It was like making an appointment with the Queen to get in for work. Forget getting a loaner car--the dance for that was too complicated. After having to jump through fantastic hoops to get our car in for warranty work, they would send it home with us unfinished so we'd have to go back through those hoops to get the work done. And even then, they'd 'forget' items. They even came back to haunt us when we needed a part--it was like pulling teeth to get them to deliver a part to Bothell.. Improvements: They need to go visit places like Honda of Bellevue to see how customers should be treated, and how to run a loaner vehicle service. With how long they take with their work, they NEED easy access to loaner vehicles. And freaking do the work they have on their contract to do!!!! How hard is it to actually perform the work you say you are going to do in writing??. Other: There are too many tales to tell of the ineptitude of this service department. I can only say that I am thankful my warranty is up--I can deal with better shops who actually care to have my business and who do what they say they are going to do.. more

Salespeople Great, Service department needs improvement 8/15/2010

Have taken my 540 in several times for problems. They gave me run around about gas quality and would not check the car. Continued to have problems, difficult to schedule appts, once in, the service people we not too helpful and seemed put out to have to help me. more

bad customer service 9/14/2009

Very difficult to schedule appointment. People at service center seems to be very busy and you have to leave your phone number to wait for them to call you back. It happened twice and each time I was on hold for more than 5 mins. And they can be a little rude - maybe they are too busy.... I wouldn't recommend this place to get repair/service your BMW. more

Service 8/29/2009

The service is great. I had my vehicle in and it was out of warranty and they took care of it. more

Awful 6/8/2009

Despite the previous 5-star posts (all by the same person interestingly), my experience with this dealership has been far less than ideal. The quality of service and work as far below what you would expect a luxury car dealership. Avoid if possible. more

BMW of Bellevue 5/22/2009

I understand the last posting. If something went bad you should not return. I just know everytime I go their they go beyond my expectations. They are very friendly and clean my vehicle for me. more

BMW Bellevue Consistently Bad 5/22/2009

I have needed relatively minor maintenance and scheduled service for my E39 and have twice taken the vehicle to BMW Bellevue. Their service receptionists have treated me like I was complicating their days just by speaking to them. The service department (which, incidentally, took 3 weeks to get into)demanded that the vehicle be delivered early in the morning and still didn't even begin the work they scheduled until well after lunch(instead leaving me stuck in Bellevue six extra hours. Even though the work was scheduled almost a month in advance, they still couldn't provide a loaner car. There was no one available to explain the work that had, eventually, been completed. Instead, I had a young receptionist turn around the paperwork I was trying to decipher and recite back what I had already read. They couldn't find my keys, the car was filthy and, to top it off, someone had already filled out the critique form on my behalf (giving the service department five stars in ALL catagories!) I promptly asked for another... more

service work 5/1/2009

BMW of Bellevue has been great, Their service is a 5 star rating. They covered a repair for me under warranty and the vehicle was out of warranty. more

I again had my vehicle serviced at BMW of Bellevue and they were very helpful. If you do not like the dealer why would you go their ? more

Avoid... 6/16/2008

I keep getting had by these guys. I live on the Eastside and prefer to do business where most convenient, but after several bad experiences I started taking my car to BMW of Seattle, which runs a much better shop (though still not what I would consider great, just a lot better than BMW of Bellevue). One day my BMW broke down and I had to tow it in the evening. BMW of Seattle's lot is closed at night (fences) so I had to tow it to a lot that would accept a night drop. So, I gave BMW of Bellevue another chance. Sure enough, they fell down on the job. Everything was late, communication was poor, and the work was not completed. They only took care of half of the job, I had to return. When I returned, they did not wash the car, and my car was even dirtier than when I brought it in. To make matters worse, the service adviser that helped me begged me for "5 stars" on the survey. Whn I told him I didn't feel that "5 stars" was not what I felt was accurate, he got angry with me and told me how it is tied to his pay check, and more, I was shocked. After all of this, I was given a GUILT TRIP by a service adviser. This dealership continues runs a subpar operation (by any standard) that is an EMBARASSMENT to the BMW brand. more
