""Perkins"" style lunch 4/26/2005

Ordered the ""Awada's Gyros."" It was fairly basic, with processed gyro meat. Nothing too spectacular here. Our server was very plain, as it, took our order, dropped of the food, brought us the bill. Never checked on us or put any effort into her service. I will go back and try it one more time, maybe dinner. more

Finally, good augratin potatoes 9/12/2002

Awada's on Plato is like stepping back to the old supper club days. Wait staff that is efficient and have been there forever. Food like steak, butterfly shrimp and the elusive real augratin potatoes with lots of bubbling cheese. But they also have great taboulie salad and pita bread. Good family restaurant. Prices are still reasonable. Pros: Great Augratin Potato, Reasonable Prices Cons: Smokey bar, Crowded more
