I don't usually write reviews on anything but I figured if I can help someone avoid the hardships I have gone through, I should. The people who work in this office can only be described as mean and uncaring. I have gone to the office twice, both times the doctors were with me for all of about 2 minutes (after waiting about 2 hours). I had no time to even explain my problems to them before they sent me off saying they would refer me to someone else. When I went to the specialist they advised I go to and felt very uncomfortable with him, I researched other specialists, and asked them to refer me to the one I picked, which they refused to do claiming they only referred to this one specific doctor (I found out from the insurance company that this is illegal for them to do, and filed a complaint). I then became pregnant so began to see my midwife, who under my insurance is considered a specialist, I didn't realize this until recently (my 7th month). In order for my midwife to get paid, I need a referral from my pcp to go to her. I called the doctors office, and they flat out refused to give a referral to a birthing center, claiming that they never refer to ob/gyns or midwives (which by the way is also illegal). My midwife tried to call them an they were nasty to her and again refused. I called the insurance company who told me they have to refer me and filed another complaint against the doctors office for refusal of service. If the doctors were amazing, sweet and caring, maybe having to deal with the obnoxious office staff would be worth it, but the doctors (Horowitz specifically) don't seem to care and just want you out. When my husband went for a check up, they didn't even give him a full check up! How is that a check up, if they don't even check his cholesterol??!! Needless to say I'm looking for a new primary care doctor. I would never recommend this office to anyone, In fact I would suggest you run the other way. You might even get better care at an ER
Pros: parking
Cons: mean, waiting time, unhelpful
