I went to the Institute with my wife. The only appointment we could get was for a weekday morning before I had to work. If I had known ahead of time that the appointment would last for nearly two hours, I would have waited or gone somewhere else. The haircut I asked for was inflated by lots of services I did not ask for - massages, lotions, aromatherapy, and more. I was not charged for these, but I would still have turned them down if offered - they just kept happening without invitation. The other thing that made the experience longer was the fact about 12 times my stylist asked me if I liked the way my hair looked. Each time, I replied that it was perfect. I thought this would mean that the job was done, but he kept cutting each time. Also, the Institute desperately needs a place for guests to sit down while waiting for their appointments. I went in for mine before my wife and she was finished half an hour before me, with nothing to do but stand and wait. If you go to the Institute you will get to take advantage of great rates and lots of services. Just make sure to clear your schedule beforehand.
