Auto Tech Specialists

I like the way that Auto Tech called with their projected repairs and the price quote at the same time. We have five different cars that we take to Auto Tech and they do everything on those cars, from oil changes to transmission changes. Our neighbor told me about Auto Tech, and we've been a customer of theirs for as long as they've been open, about five years. You get good service at a reasonable price at Auto Tech Specialists! more

I think Auto Tech Specialists are really good! I give them all 5's! I didn't know anything about them, but I had bought a couple of coupons for oil changes and such. They did exactly what they said they'd do. And they stood behind their work, I appreciate that, not many places are like that. We had taken our vehicle to a local dealership here to get it fixed. But, we continued having same problems. Finally, we took it to Auto Tech Specialists. they were able to identify the problem and correct the issues and stop other problems from occurring. It really provided great information and insight into getting the original problem resolved. Unfortunately, we didn't save any money on it, but at least we know how to tackle the problem. Auto Tech Specialists has done a few different things for me. They have worked on my pickup and my car for services and tuneups. They also changed some brake master cylinders and similar services. I have probably used them 3 or 4 times over the last couple of years. I would recommend them because they have good service, do good work, and do it all at a fair price. more

Joel and Auto Tech Specialists are very good! I've always had good luck with Joel. I've recommended him to quite a few people. I have had him work on both my company vehicles and my personal vehicle. Joel and his whole crew there have done an excellent job. They do what they say they are going to do, and they tell you how much it's going to cost, and that's what it costs! Joel bleeds integrity. He is the kind of guy you can totally trust. He is not going to take advantage of anything, and I feel comfortable because I know he is not going to rip anyone off. He does only what needs to be done. You don't find this type of service very often. I first met Joel when he was working for another company. When he opened up Auto Tech Specialists I followed him there. I have never had any problems or issues with his work. One thing I really like is that he has a loaner vehicle, and when he works on my vehicle I can use that one. more

I've been going to Auto Tech Specialists for at least two years. I initially went there because it was close, 100 yards from where I work. I keep coming back because of their honesty and friendliness. They won't do any unnecessary work. They'll sometimes say, "You can get by for two, three months on this and then come see us," instead of piling extra work on. Joel was also honest enough to point out some shoddy work that my former mechanic had done. I seriously have a vehicle in there once a month. I don't know if they do this with everybody, but with me, there's all sorts of flexibility. They've seen four of my vehicles, and they're happy to work with my schedule, whatever it is. They're willing to go that extra mile. I recommend them to everybody. The only complaint I've ever heard is that they were expensive because they aren't the cheapest in town. But you do pay for what you get. I say that because I'm in the service industry myself and I'm not the cheapest either. more

Before I bought a car through the dealership, Joel at Auto Tech Specialists did a complimentary look over of the vehicle. He gave me a list of things he found wrong, and based on what he said the dealership adjusted the price. Joel found two significant things wrong with the vehicle; there was a plug gone from the heater core, and a wheel bearing was bad. The dealer fixed both of those things. When my daughter or I take our cars to Auto Tech, they fix the car, wash it, and have them ready for when we get back. Another nice thing at Joel's shop is that if I need to leave the vehicle for a certain amount of time, Joel will provide a loaner car. That way I don't have to rent a car, or go without a vehicle. Being able to utilize a vehicle so that I don't have to wait on anyone else is wonderful. I have used Auto Tech Specialists since Joel started the shop. I actually followed him from where he used to work to his own whop. I feel comfortable sending people to him because he fixes things and then tells his customers a time frame for other repairs. He will say what is a high priority and what can wait. I feel comfortable sending my daughter to him, and I know he will take care of her. I trust him because he doesn't want to make himself more work. He already has enough work without making up more because he is honest, reliable, and a good guy. His shop is probably cleaner than my kitchen, and his lobby has a kid's area to play. It is nice, clean, has a couch, TV, and a table for anyone who chooses to wait for their vehicle. more
