What can be said about Aurelio's in homewood? Nothing positive, that's for sure. Pros: None Cons: Horrible food, worse service, disgusting, expensive

Any pizza place can through ingredients together to make a pie , face it it's not rocket science. Aurelios has a taste that is definitely unique. The sauce is unique and the cheese is very special . this is no run of the mill franchise pie. Every ingredient must be of exacting standards, per the owners. Definitely worth the trip. more

Zesty sauce and toppings stand out 12/13/2002

I have had pizza all over the country and Aurelio's pizza especially the 22 combo and the supersix simply has the best sauce and topping combo for thin crust pizza. The Homewood anchor is of course the best place to go. Their spinach calabrese and garlic bread are also very good. Every once and a while the crust can get a little overbaked but it is Aurelio's still tops in my book. Pros: Favorful sauce, Delicious toppings, just enough cheese Cons: price, crust canbe overbaked more

I moved to Texas in 1989 and the only thing I miss about Chicago is Aurelio's pizza. There is no pizza in the Dallas-Ft Worth area even remotely as good as this. As a matter of fact, about the only time I eat pizza is at Aurelio's when I'm in Chicago. more

I lived in homewood for 4 years and fell in love with Aurelio's Pizza especially their stuffed pizza and calabrese. I moved to the far west suburbs and only get Aurelio's once in a while. But thank goodness I read that Aurelio's is opening a restaurant in Geneva!!! A real Godsend! Pros: Service, nice people, Pizza Cons: crowded more

Absolutely the BEST pizza in Chicago. We lived there for over a year and this was our FAVORITE place to go. The atmosphere, the service and the Deep Dish Pizza Pie was unbelievable! We actually hated to leave Chicago once we discovered this wonderful exerience. Whether it was the restaurant in Homewood (?) or any of the expansion stores, the quality and ambience was always the same. How can you rate them #6? In my book, this pizza parlor is number 1. I have never had a better pizza then Aurelio's. I live and grew up in the far West suburbs (Geneva Saint Charles) and all the pizza is the same none seem to seperate themselves from each other. My wife introduces me to Aurelio's pizza and I was instantly hooked. I still live in the West suburbs and bring home an Aurelio's pizza when ever I am in the south suburbs of Chicago. The restuarant provides a friendly environment for all ages. Pros: the sauce, the crust, the sausage Cons: none, none, none more

The pizza just isn't all that good. They don't pile on the toppings and they screw up your order alot. They don't try and compensate you for their mistake either. Poor customer service with average pizza = bad. They don't even have a deep dish pizza. It is just bad. Pros: N/A, N/A, N/A Cons: Expensive, Bad Service, Few choices on menu more

It was the best day in years 11/26/2002

when I found out Joe had sold a franchise to a family friend in Naples, FL. You guys in Chicago have NO IDEA how hard it is to find a good pie in Fort Myers, FL. Aurelio's in Naples may be 45 minutes away, but it is well worth the trip. It is like bing back up there when you walk in with all of the Cubs/Sox/Bears/Bulls stuff. Whatta pie same ingredients that the original Homewood location uses! AND Jay's potato chips (we don't get those down here either!) more
