This office has a long way to go to "get it". My dog was diagnosed with lung cancer by her x-rays, and I was told she would be dead in 3-4 months. My dogs are my life, so needless to say I was devastated. To my surprise she wasn't even sick at the 3 month mark, so I took her in and asked the vet about it. He took more x-rays and then told me flippantly\r
"she just has old dog lungs". There was no compassion toward me for what I had gone through for the past 3 months. \r
I guess he didn't know how the first news would be taken by someone who is devoted to her dogs. Don't get me wrong I didn't want a dead dog, but I had even been looking at the best place to have her cremated and the buying of an ern. Since I am a medical professional (and they knew it) one would think he would have given me the truth and tell me it was either cancer or old dog lungs, not give her a death sentance with a time limit on it. I told a staff member what I had been told and she obviously had no emotion
