Caring Staff 2/17/2012

We have been going to the clinic for about 12 years now and recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep. Our animals are like are kids, so it was devastating to us and very hard. Everyone there was so understanding and caring. They went the extra mile to help comfort us during this very difficult time. What a wonderful place!!! Pros: null Cons: null more

Great Clinic 8/24/2011

My family has been bringing our dogs and cats to Augusta Animal Clinic for 20+ years. They are always tremendously friendly and very caring. I will continue to take my animals here as long as I live in Augusta. I have never been overcharged or treated unkindly. more

A bad choice 5/16/2010

This office has a long way to go to "get it". My dog was diagnosed with lung cancer by her x-rays, and I was told she would be dead in 3-4 months. My dogs are my life, so needless to say I was devastated. To my surprise she wasn't even sick at the 3 month mark, so I took her in and asked the vet about it. He took more x-rays and then told me flippantly\r "she just has old dog lungs". There was no compassion toward me for what I had gone through for the past 3 months. \r I guess he didn't know how the first news would be taken by someone who is devoted to her dogs. Don't get me wrong I didn't want a dead dog, but I had even been looking at the best place to have her cremated and the buying of an ern. Since I am a medical professional (and they knew it) one would think he would have given me the truth and tell me it was either cancer or old dog lungs, not give her a death sentance with a time limit on it. I told a staff member what I had been told and she obviously had no emotion more

Hidden charges!!!!! 4/28/2007

I go into the clinic expecting the office visit fee of $30.75, but they charged me for two antibiotic injections that total $47.00! Plus the antibiotics that I have to give for 14 days. Any other clinic I've been to only gives me the antibiotics that I have to give at home. I don't understand the two injections that they gave. I don't know why they didn't just charge more for the office visit and not hide these other fees. Just be prepared to pay an additional $47.00 if you go here! My dog was treated great and the staff was friendly! more

Animal Hospital 5/12/2005

Taking my animals to this clinic has given me the secure comfort that I am not going to get over paid for the services that I want for my animals. They are inexpensive, but yet very friendly and will go the extra mile to keep you and your "family members" healthy and happy. more
