Audrey and her team are very nice people. However, I asked Audrey to redesign the top floor of my house and she designed a project that was way out of the budget she was originally given.
I decided to hire Audrey because her work was good, and because she seemed very attentive to my needs and desires. She was given a budget for the project (for her to design changes within) that was not at necessarily the most luxurious, but a large amount. She assured me that she could work with that budget and design a space that would address the things that I wanted done.
After purchasing the completed plans from Audrey (as well as some materials for the project that were bought through her), I brought in several contractors for quotes. Unfortunately, the estimates given to me were 3-4 times the budget that Audrey was given.
I hired an architect to avoid this problem! Unfortunately, Audrey did not seem to be very concerned about this error. My advice is to not purchase materials from Audrey, and to constantly ask her to re-evaluate the budget. Or use someone else who does things more realistically.
