My wife and I have lived here at the Empire Landing for about 9 months now and it has been the worst experience ever. Aside from the rent being extremely expensive for a tiny unit, management is horrible. They never respond to tenant complaints or issues regarding noise and the condition of the building. This place has paper thin walls, I can literally hear my neighbor urinating in their restroom from my restroom. I hear my neighbors washing machine running all night and worst of all I can hear them fighting and arguing all night. When reported to security or management they just simply say they will look into it and nothing ever happens. I have heard from several other tenants that they have the same issues as I do but everyone is stuck in a long 18 month lease. I do not recommend anyone move here. We are even contemplating breaking our lease and just paying the penalty charges (which totals out at almost $4000). STAY AWAY IF YOU CAN! Oh, and to top it off they did not inform any tenants about there LOW INCOME HOUSING. I don't think its fair to pay almost $1700/ month for a 740 square foot apartment when someone else is getting it much cheaper because they make under a certain amount. I tend not to try and stereotype but unfortunately the quality of people shows as well. Beer bottles are found in our courtyards, people cant seem to simply open the trash shoots to throw their trash away so they just leave it on the floor in the trash room for others to throw away for them and trash in the hallways just to name a few things. Not to mention the yelling and screaming pack of kids that run around all week long. This is just a totally horrible place to live for the price.
