Atlas Chiropractic & Wellness Center, the practice of Dr. John Boccella, has been providing top quality care to my family for over five years. I first went to Dr. Boccella with a sports-related back injury. He was able to treat my symptoms and return me to full, pain-free mobility within days. I had this same injury several years earlier and I was not well for weeks! I have been a regular patient since that time and whether I have a new ache or pain, or am going in for a regular adjustment, I am always treated like family by the staff and always feel great after my appointment. My wife and children are also regular patients of Dr. John and feel the same about his practice as I do. more

Dr. John and his staff are like family!!!!!! My daughter and I have been going to see him for about 7 years now, my son since he was days old. I've gone to chiropractors throughout my life so I am very familiar with them but to trust my small children with someone means they have to be amazing. My kids look forward to their visit every 6 weeks and feel very comfortable with everyone in the office. Dr. John has guided us in our pursuit to find better health for our daughter who was diagnosed with a yeast overgrowth in her gut as well as a variety of other ailments. He understood we had a problem after sitting and listening to all of her symptoms and recommended a specialist that we are still seeing today. He always takes the time to listen and if he doesn't know the answer he always seems to know who to direct you to that can help. He even realized when our daughter broke her wrist and we had no idea. Once again he recommended a specialist for us to see to get that fixed. He is always extremely positive and I feel like I owe him a lot. Dr. Bocella is an outstanding chiropractor and person - tremendously caring, knowledgeable, and professional in his manner. I was seen by him on a weekly basis for a long time after suffering neck, back, and leg pain as a result of a 2008 automobile accident. My general physician initially treated these injuries with pain medications and had only short term success, all of which was due solely to the narcotic effects of the medication. Dr. John worked patiently and tirelessly to lessen my pain, while also correctly recognizing that I had other underlying physical injuries which would require intervention by other medical professionals. He referred me for an MRI to diagnose the underlying problems, to a neurosurgeon, and to a physical therapist. Dr. John helped to give me my life back during that very difficult time. I would highly recommend his services and the services of his staff, all of whom are also caring, cheerful, and unfailingly supportive. more

Dr. John is a wonderful, caring doctor. I've been a patient for about 4 years, driving an hour each way. I was referred to him by a dentist who was treating me for TMJ with neck pain and stiffness. Dr. John is one of the best Wellness Dr.s I know. I have worked with different Dr.s in different states and no one has been able to help me as well as he has. I have sever neck issues and it was recommended that I have an operation to fuze several dics. I was against this and now there is no need at all for surgery. Dr. Boccella is an excellent chiropractor with an intense passion for not only your chiropractic heath but your overall wellbeing. I am very grateful to him and his wonderful team, Gwen and Kristy, for the patience, care and compassion they have shown me since I first became a patient of Atlas Chiropractic, as well as the results I have achieved under his care. For several years I had suffered with neck, shoulder, and back pain, and eventually severe tension headaches and migraines that became a daily occurrence in my life. I had seen neurologists, physical therapists, massage therapists, and other chiropractors who practice the ""typical"" methods of chiropractic care including manual manipulation of the spine, but to no avail. By chance one of the physical therapists working on my case mentioned that something about TMJ disorder, and suggested I research local dentists who treat this disorder. My search led me to a neuromuscular dentist, who collaborates with Dr. Boccella and an orthodontist to provide comprehensive care for the severe effects of TMJ disorder. When I first visited Dr. Boccella, I was extremely skeptical, having been to so many chiropractors before with no luck. However, he was extremely patient as I fired questions at him at every visit, his explanations of the science and the mechanics behind his methods made sense, and his experience and eagerness to get to the root of the issue and to collaborate with the dentists on my needs and my progress gave me renewed hope. I was not disappointed. His chiropractic care and his consciousness for my overall wellbeing have changed my life. Three years ago I never thought I would be saying this, but I am on the road to recovery, and only getting better. I drive over 2.5 hours each way to see Dr. Bocella and his team every 2-3 months. I used to 2-3 times per week! That's how good his treatments are and likely I'll be only going 3-4 times per year for 'maintenance' soon. After 26 years of pain from two car accidents, Dr. B was my key to healing. I had given up on Chiropractic over 20 years ago, but, Dr. B's Upper Cervical work is as different as night and day from ordinary chiropractic treatment. He also advised me to partner his visits with a good Cranial and body therapist -- he sees the bigger wellness picture and spent time with my other therapist to ensure the whole 'team' was doing the best for me that they could. I have never met another doctor like him nor such a capable and nurturing staff. I am pain-free and feel better than I have felt in over 25 years and it keeps getting better! more

I was raised as a non-believer in chiropractic care. I don't know why. When I was traveling as a small business consultant, one of my clients noticed my lower back and neck hurting issues and insisted I visit her orthogonal chiropractor.
