Atlanta Best Movers

Back in June the contract in my apartment was about to expire so I was looking for a good moving company. I researched sometime in the internet, yellow pages etc. After calling a few, I realized that the lady from the customer service agent from this company was different than the others I called before. Always friendly, had an answer for all my questions or at least knew who to ask or where to look for it a.s.a.p. The price the offered me for my 2 bedroom move was way lower than the other estimates I got so far so I decided to schedule the move. The night before I received a call from the manager to verify one last time the pick-up address and the direction of the destination so that everything would work fine. The move was scheduled for 8.30am and the movers already arrived with 3 guys at 8.10am so we won a little time thanks the early arrival. They packed and loaded my stuff really quick and you could see immediately that they knew what they were doing. At the destination the unwrapped and unloaded my stuff and put them in the decided places, all this really quick and professional. After I had my stuff and was able to verify that nothing got damaged I paid the bill in the easiest manner with my Visa card. All in all I can say that it was a very good choice to hire this guys! Friendly stuff, fast work, best price and skillful movers. Communications was also great, so I can recommend these guys without any doubts at all! Thanks for the great job! more

I used Hunter Relocation to move my belongings from Mississippi to Georgia in July 2011. They took very good care of my items while loading and off loading. They wrapped my furniture and packed my lose items prior to loading the truck and made sure that they had packed everything in my home. The crew that came to pick up my items did a great job with the packing and checking to make sure that they did not over look anything that they could have missed. While my items where in transit, the office staff gave me a call to go over how things were going for my move and what to except at the delivery. The delivery went well and the crew had no problem putting the items and boxes in the correct rooms. Over all this move went extremely well and I would have to recommend Hunter Relocation to my family and friends. more

I used Hunter Relocation to do my move from Atlanta to St. Louis. I am glad that I called them. My furniture was wrapped with blankets and was well protected. And all of my nick knacks and trinkets were all packed carefully in boxes. They did a great job. Thank you very much!! more

I recently moved with Hunter Relocation. They called me prior to my move and told me a time of when they expected to be at my home. They showed up and took the time to answer all of my last minute questions about packing and dis-assembly. I was so stressed and nervous about moving, but the driver walked me through everything and calmed me down. I had more items than the inventory list I gave the company earlier, but I was told that it would not be a problem. At delivery, the crews did a great job putting everything where I wanted to go. They had no problem with carrying the heavy items up the stairs to the bedrooms. I was very impressed with Hunter Relocation and will recommend them to anyone and I will be using them again if I have to move again. more

I trusted this company because they was local and all they did was lie to us and take every dime we had on our move. This move was estimated to cost us $1500 from Atlanta to New Mexico. I sent them a detailed list of items we was having them moved. Each time they said, it will be an estimate of 3000 lbs. I even sent them a detailed list 3 days before them came and picked up the item. I even asked are we still within the 3000 lbs? Again they said we was. We had all intentions of selling more things if we was over the weight but we didn't sell anymore because according to Hunters we was still within our weight. Needless to say they came hours late to pick up our stuff and then when the guys seen our stuff he still didn't say anything until it all made it on the truck. ""You know you guys are over your 3000lbs"". This is what the guy said after he loaded the stuff on to the truck. We drove down to the weight station and the weight came in at 5500 lbs. So naturally when the bill was almost double we was a little upset. The guy said he would let his boss know and get back to us if there is anything he can do. Of course no one called us back about anything. I find it funny, they provided such amazing communication when they build our trust in using them and had zero communication when we had problems with this company. Also, they managed to charge us for packing up everything. The gave us a estimate of $75 to pack up 3 flat screen tv's but then charged use $150 when they packed them all up. When I asked about it, they said, ""$75 was just an estimate"". We waited and waited, and waited for our items and it took over 14 days for it to arrive. Again when I asked them about their 5-10 business day driver they said (you guessed it) ""it was an estimate"". Then when it finally made it to us we had to pay the driver a blank money order. Naturally they brokered our stuff off to another driver. I was upset because we didn't want to go with a broker we wanted a true company. Of course, Hunter says they didn't broker it off, they always use this guys. Which was funny again because the guy came to my door step and I asked him and he said, ""this is my first time with this company and I don't re weight but you have about 3500lbs then he looked and the ticket and sow I was charged for 5500 lbs and just said nothing but his face said it all and I felt even worse. But of course the driver didn't say this.Then when the guy came to our door step he was trying to charge us an extra $200 because his truck didn't fit in the apartment. Hunters called the driver and they settled on me paying him $100 instead of $200. Wow, thanks. Keep in mind, we had to pay an extra $1200 more then what was estimated for this move. If Hunters cared about their customers you would think they would cover the extra $100 after everything we have been through. NEVER, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF SCAM ARTIST THAT SENDS OUT. more

Last month I had to move some of our furniture to a storage and I decided to find the best local movers to avoid the situation when we were overcharged by one so called reputable local moving company. Also a few months back my cousin had a horrible experience with a long distance mover during his interstate move. So I was very skeptical about the moving service providers. After reading the reviews and getting at least 8 different price quotes from $ 390 to $640 I decided to choose this moving company to move my belongings. The moving was smooth and I like to thanks all the guys and their Customer Service for helping me move my belonging safe to my new home. We used to move a lot, and so far these guys were the best. Great service, great price, friendly and reliable staff. Some of my friends have used this moving service company already, my mom used them, and I've used them, and we've all had nothing but good things to say. Always efficient, friendly, and, most importantly, their rates are cheap. more

I called Hunter Relocation to get a quote for my move from Georgia to North Carolina. I spoke to them about my concerns about my glass furniture and fragile items. They gave me more information an other moving companies that I spoke to. Out of the four different companies that I called, Hunter Relocation was the one that I felt at ease with. The movers arrived in the morning of my move and they were wonderful. I did not have any problems with the men that had shown up to move my items. They were very kind and courteous to me and my family. The foreman followed the instructions that I had given him about how I wanted some of my items packed and what was not going. When I had a question about my billing or about my delivery schedule, the office personnel were very helpful. My items arrived on schedule and movers that were delivering my items were nice and professional. If I need to move back to Georgia, I will give Hunter Relocation a call. more

I hired Hunter Relocation to move my grandmother from an apartment to my house. They were wonderful! They treated all of my grandmother's precious items with care. They carried the items down from the three floor and they never complained. I know I would have!
