Manager was good,she sat with me explain all the treatment in language I could understand.She also made it easy with financial part of it.My overall experiance with that office is good. more

aspen dental lisbon and waterford ct 10/22/2010

Went to aspen dental they wanted to give me a root canal scheduled for2 weeks after my intial appointment. Get there the pain was not followed tolerable. They suggest extraction which is what I wanted to start they wanted to chrg me 1400.00 they wouldn't give me anything for pain and scheduled the extraction. 3 days after the failed root canal very rude doctors. more

Not so "simple filling" 10/5/2010

I've been to this office several times, usually with ok results. The dentists are hit & miss. I was disappointed my regular couldn't see me for what seemed to be a simple filling on a wisdom tooth due to their scheduling mix-up...patient beware.\r I was given a new guy who talked more than listened & did it in what seemed to be record time. He seemed so unconcerned about me, the patient, that before I left I requested that I not be scheduled with him again, even if a scheduling mix-up occurred.\r The pain & sensitivity started after this. I went back & was given a "temporary filling" because of a time issue & asked to come back. Ok, no problem. The next time I was given a real filling, but not until after what seemed to be a long time drilling out/scraping the tooth. Needless to say I was back in the office yet again and told there was nothing more to do than a root canal. On a top back upper tooth, that's been ground down, are you kidding me??? They do okay work, but I do agree they have hidden fees you know nothing about until you get the final bill. They will try to tell you things that are not true. I went to the October 2009 for the first time to repair a tooth when I fell it broke. They come out with the most asinine things - - I was tyring to scheduling a basic teeth cleaning and they recommend an expensive cleaning because of a few thing plus I have a lot of bacteria in my mouth. That did it for me. Everyone has bacteria in their mouths. They fail to realize that I go to my dentist ever four months religiously for routine cleanings. Now, I go every six months religiously for a routine cleaning. The last teeth cleaning I received was in August 2009 due for a routine cleaning in February 2010. My August 2009 appointment went exceptionally well. The dentist said if he could he would schedule me to teach a flossing and brushing class. Does this sound like a person with extra bacteria in their mouth? I am taking my business more

Aspen Dental is the dental office of choice in Danbury 10/27/2009

I totally disagree with the previous review as I had an excellent experience with Aspen Dental in Danbury, CT. I recommend this office to anyone looking for dental care, including routine cleaning and all other dental repairs and cosmetic treatments. The doctor is very professional, skillful, conscientious and knowledgeable. He is always pleasant and empathic to the patient's needs. The front desk staff are welcoming, kind and helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have. I am confident that the advice and care I received at this office has been a very high standard. more

Terrible, it was like going to Jiffy Lube 1/24/2009

Unfortunately I decided to give these idiots a try. First let me say I had no problems in anyway shape or form with my teeth. I went to Aspen Dental in Danbury CT. My first visit was for a simple check up and a piece of an old filling that had fallen out. Well 30 minutes later I was told I needed a "deep cleaning". The strange thing about this is the charge happened to be double what my dental insurance covered. Also the person breaking down the cost to me had an extensive "conversation" with the finance manager. I have no doubt in my mind the discussion was on how can we pump up this bill to extract more funds from this person. So I left there with a summary and the cost would be $3500 which $1700 I would have to pay out of pocket. In addition they attempted to sell me on this Rotodent brush which they said was really necessary. So I scheduled an appointment for the filling replacement. So I return on January 19th, for what was supposed to be a simple filling replacement. Remember whe more

Convenient Hours 7/28/2005

They have very convenient hours, open til 8:00 on Thursdays. The dentist is very nice and is good at pain management. They do good work and are very professional. They are very good at arranging emergency appointments. One draw back is that there is a long wait for non emergency appointments, especially cleanings. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and they are willing to arrange payment plans. PROS: Good Hours, payment plans CONS: Long wait for appts. more
