I've never seen this many great reviews without one "not so good". Whats going on here? After 2 years as a customer I think I know. Friendly service, quality product, & extremely knowledgeable people. One great product & not 4 or 5 different mediocre hearing products!! more

My husband and I were driving through town when we saw Ascent Audiology Fredericksburg in a strip mall. We went in and asked if they made sound canceling earplugs. My husband had a pair previously that had worn out, and we had been trying to find a place that would make us a pair. The gentleman at Ascent said they could do it, and they saw us within the next half hour or hour. They took care of it, and they called us in a week to say the plugs were ready. We went back and picked them up. The plugs are great! My husband loves them. The people at Ascent Audiology Fredericksburg really took care of us when we didn't even have an appointment! more

I've been using Ascent Audiology Fredericksburg for three months. We first went to another dealer, but I wasn't happy there. It might have been a personal thing with the particular guy I was dealing with, but I also felt they were hustling me. It just didn't feel like they possessed any significant training in the field. So I tried Ascent Audiology. I found Dr. Paul was remarkably well-skilled at his profession. He took extraordinary time with me and explained everything that he was doing while he was testing and studying my particular hearing loss. In the end, I felt he was doing the best he could to do the best job of fitting me with what I needed. more

I went to Ascent Audiology Fredericksburg for an annual audiogram that I needed for the company that I do freelance engineering work for. This is the best outcome in my 28 years of dealing with my hearing problems. I have used numerous brands and configurations, and have never achieved this level of satisfaction. This is the best equipment I have found, but more important, the extensive initial testing and follow up testing and adjustment to resolve my specific issues were unsurpassed. I had been putting off getting a hearing test for many years and finally made an appointment with Dr, Kuster at Ascent Audiology. From the moment I stepped into his office, I felt at ease. Dr, Custer answered all of my questions (there were many) and took the time to explain what he would be testing for, what he could do, and a little of what he could not do. His tests were very thorough and I was fitted with hearing aids the following week. I am extremely pleased. I was so impressed with my sessions with Dr, Kuster, that I brought my Mother-in-law to him, because I knew she was experiencing issues with her hearing aides. After spending some time with Dr, Kuster and getting her aides properly adjusted, she came out of his office with the biggest smile and said she couldn't believe the difference his adjustments made and was looking forward now to having dinner conversation that evening. Doctor PAUL D. KUSTER is an excellent audiologist. He fitted me with two modern/high tech hearing aids, both of which work well and are hardly visible. Dr. Kuster and his office staff, Wendi, are professional, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Kuster to test for, fit and help maintain hearing devices. In my opinion, Ascent Audiology Fredericksburg is the best audiology clinic around. I have been using them for about eighteen months. I bought two top line hearing aids through them. The staff couldn't have been nicer or of more service to me. They are always professional and so willing to answer any questions. They make me feel like I am a priority and not just a sale to them. If I experience any glitches with my aid, they will examine it and make the proper adjustments. Dr. Kuster is very knowledgeable and helpful. He really cares for his clients and is eager to do anything he can to make your hearing deficiency better. He even recommended a text phone modulator when I informed him that I had particular difficulty hearing through the phone. Wendy is also extremely welcoming, as is the whole team. I have never regretted my decision to go with Ascent. My previous experiences with other hearing professionals was not exciting or enthused. These guys, however, are TOP QUALITY PROFESSIONALS! more

I can hear the rain! After a decade of wearing hearing aids available at Costco, I heard Dr. Kuster speak to a group of Seniors and decided to go to him to get a new hearing test. After a comprehensive, in-depth assessment of my hearing needs, Dr. Kuster recommended and fitted me with the proper Starkey brand of hearing aids for my needs. Now I can hear the rain and other sounds I had not heard for years, including the telephone without the speaker phone setting. Being able to hear is necessary to survival and I sincerely mean that. Before, I did not hear sirens or horns when in the car and I did not turn the radio on when driving. That really says something about Dr. Kuster’s ability to truly help with a very serious ailment. The follow-up visits included insuring that the devices were geared to all of my hearing issues, which were addressed by the extensive testing and analysis system that Starkey provides its audio specialists. I am writing this to tell everyone who sees this that Dr. Paul Kuster is the very best hearing specialist I have ever been to see. Not only is he a Expert Audioligist, he cares about his patients on a very personal level. You can discuss any problems you have with your hearing with him and he will take his time with you no matter how long it takes to solve your hearing problems with the best hearing aides that are right for you at a very reasonable price to meet your budget. If you worry about how to pay he will find a way to purchase them with payments that are right for you. I have never met a Doctor so caring for his patients. He is never too busy to take your call and solve any problems. This is very rare with doctors today. They give you few minutes, take your money and dismiss you. It could take weeks before you can get in touch with them. Not Dr. Kuster. He is the most Professional, Caring Medical Expert I have ever met. I highly recommend him to anyone with hearing problems. I'm 70 with a 70-year long term chronic middle ear disease. After middle ear surgery at age 18, I bought my first hearing aid so I could hear my professors in college. I wore it for 3 or 4 years, but my hearing seemed to improve, so I stopped. 30 years later and 4 middle ear surgeries later, I needed hearing assistance again to perform at work. Another hearing aid. Hearing improved again. Stopped using it. Now 70, I really needed hearing help. Paul and Wendy gently, efficiently, and patiently guided into another set of aids - Starkey seems to make a superior product with help to afford my third pair of aids.
