Asados Mexican Grill

My husband and I love going to Asados! We love the atmosphere, the food is great and they have the best Margaritas in town. My favorite dishes are the fajitas, steak and the corn chowder. I also think they have the best hot sauce. The bar is a fun place to hang out, FUN!!!!!!!! Pros: great food Cons: no cons more

If you had asked me to review this restaurant a year ago I would have to give it one or two stars even though it was a fairly new restaurant. Although since then changes in ownership and later changes in management as well as a totally new menu with obvious upgrades in food quality has been just what this place needed. Now we frequent this place and enjoy the authenticity of real Mexican food prepared by a fantastic staff of proud chefs. The ribeye & grilled shrimp is impossible to beat at a price that's unheard of. The bar is the best in the area we visit often enough to enjoy the regular crowd and some of the best margaritas on the planet. I know for a fact the bad reviews are from upset employees that were replaced by better quality. Thanks again for having a top notch establishment out our way!!! Everything that I have tried at Asados is very good. Love the hot sauce!!! I recommend the signature chicken and their tortilla soup. However, I am continually dissapointed in the service. I would love to continue to go to Asados, but I'm not sure if it is worth the aggrivation that always happens. My water glass stays empty, chips and hot sauce bowl is hardly refilled, seems like someone is always ""new"" (or that's the excuse), everything takes FOREVER, and they always seem to forget something!! I really would like to see Asados make it, but I'm affraid that the service to too horrible. Just curious if anyone else knows someone that works for this establishment that has issues getting a pay check on time. Know someone (still employed there) that had a pay check bounce and has not received their paycheck for this pay period yet. This makes the third pay period in a row that paychecks have been late. I would not recommend working for ANY place that has a pattern of not paying their employees. Maybe that is just a flaw that I have... more

This place is a poor attempt at a Mexican Cantina, the food is terrible, very dry and tastes as if it has been reheated to save money. the management is smug and rude when approached with negativity. The service is one step up from a garage party and does not know what customer service is, I also felt uncomfortable giving my credit card as they were gone a long time with card.\r \r will not go back at all. especially having read the previous post. I went to Asado's for lunch today and you would NOT believe the atrocities I witnessed.\r A young man came in and spoke to the manager, who turned out to be Brian.\r There was a verbal confrontation and then the young man left the establishment. Turns out the young man was an employee that was quitting.\r Brian, the MANAGER, chased after the young man to his car and slapped him in the face.\r He then proceeded to slam the young mans car door on his leg over and over again.\r Meanwhile, there is a young girl in the passenger seat crying while this ""grown man"" abuses her friend.\r The cops were called and the young man left.\r I could NOT believe this kind of behavior coming from a grown man and restaurant owner.\r I will NEVER be going to this place again and I WILL be looking into reporting this incident to the TWC.\r I will GLADLY stand as a witness for this young man if I can find him.\r \r Shame on you BRIAN. For those who are friend of the bartender he can lock the door during the hours of operation and also let in who he feels like it. YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!
