If you are looking for cheap stuff, this is not the place. Quality is what Art’s deals with. I play in several bands around town and I am always satisfied with the quality of gear that Art’s keeps on hand or can order for me. I must give credit to their tech – Jeff Salter - He knows me and understands my occupation, and I know him and I understand his occupation. With regard to my main tools, I'll call him, explain the time line, and see if he is in the position to work within such. If not, no big whoop, we'll do business again, we'll probably go have dinner and talk old soldiers. However, if we've agreed on Wednesday, there's a valid reason that such has been specified, and Thursday won't do. The guy understands this, and there are no issues. My lifestyle and income depends upon it, as his does.
I always said that we needed a good amp repairman and luthier in Birmingham. Thank God Art’s found this guy. Good techs must be good musicians. When I describe a sound this guy knows how to find it for me.
