I attended several of the Tarot meditation classes with Artisans of Light in Santa Cruz in 2007 and I found them very inspirational.
The group of people there are warm and welcoming, and I never felt pressure to join, or felt left out because I was new and didn't know anyone. The perfect combination, as I have been to other cliquey groups where you don't feel welcome.
The tarot work was informative and the meditations were very insightful. I find this off-shoot of B.O.T.A. to be full of wisdom and the energy of the people there was beautiful, a sure sign that people are on the right track in their own transformative process'.
I had tea and snacks with them lots of times, and I never had any kind of glass in my food. I found this a really weird thing for someone to say, because it was not my experience at all. I question the motivation of the person that said this. I mean I suppose accidents happen with food sometimes, but I really doubt that this is a truthful account, but rather someone trying to scare people away. Which is sad, because I think this group is great.
I would probably still be involved with them if I didn't move to New Zealand where I have found another great B.O.T.A. group. :-)
Thank you Artisans of Light for the short time that I spent with you. It taught me a lot, and I still have the beautiful Tree of Life poster.
Blessings
Kiana
