We have been taking our dogs and cats to Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital for the past three years. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the staff and veterinarians at this wonde...

Worst

$$$ is definitely more important to them than saving an animal's life. Unless you are wealthy, don't bother taking your pet here. They will drain you.

Awesome staff, fabulous vets! 6/18/2011

We have been taking our dogs and cats to Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital for the past three years. I cannot say enough GREAT things about the staff and veterinarians at this wonderful place. From the moment we walk through the door we are greeted by a very friendly staff. We have never waited long to get into an exam room. Very seldom do we have to wait long for the vet to see us. Sure, emergencies happen and sometimes you have to wait to be seen (but not often). However, if I was the one with the emergency, it's nice to know that they don't rush you out the door; but rather take time to make sure that your pet(s) receive the proper attention and care. We have even been given the option of ordering prescriptions through other "pet" pharmacies, rather than getting the drugs through them. Never have I needed this as I always opt to get them through our vet as I don't want to wait to start treatment for my animals. I highly recommend Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital!! more

Worth a 2-hour roundtrip!! 5/2/2011

I've been going to Arrowhead Animal Ranch for the last 5 years even though I live in Fountain Hills (that's about a 2-hour round trip!). Initially, I was looking for a vet who was an animal chiropractor and was open to alternative types of medicine for my chihuahua who had a slipped disk injury from before. Dr. Tom was that vet and more. I liked him so much that I brought all my pets there as well and continue to do so. It's so hard to find a good vet and for a reasonable price as well, and I'm so glad I found Dr. Tom! more

Dr. Tom is not only knowledgeable and skilled, his love for animals is obvious. Plus, I swear he works magic on my dogs. They get adjustments and within a short time are like puppies, even though they are 13 and 8 years old. Thank you so much, Dr. Tom! more

Wonderful, knowledgeable and caring staff 12/1/2010

Wonderful, knowledgeable and caring staff. Our family has had our pet checkup and emergency treatments performed at Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital since we moved to the valley 10 years ago and have always had excellent service even during the worst and most emotional times.\r \r The technicians and Veterinarians have always been understanding and aware of the pet and our needs as owners. When we were confronted with tough decisions on the health of one of our cats all of the options were presented to us with full explanations of the pros and cons. We were then able to ask informed questions and decide the best path for both ourselves and the cat.\r \r We will continue to use the services of Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital for our current and future pets as long as we live in the Phoenix Metro area, even if it means a bit of a drive from wherever we are to get there. more

Veternarian 10/8/2010

Alway great. We drive past several vets to get here, well worth the drive. We ahve been with them several year and never a problem. The really care!! I have read the other reviews. Several people were unhappy. Obviously not the same place I go. We always have the option for care. They may be a bit more expensive, what is you family member worth? We have an old dog who vomited blood Tuesday maroning, we took him in expecting the worst. We BROUGH HIM HOM and doing well. They always follow up with a phone call the next day. Won't go anywhere else. more

Awesome caring Veterinarian 10/22/2009

Incredible veterinary clinic. I have used several throughout the valley and they are the most caring. The always offer us options and even allowed us to set up a payment plan. Our dog had a fractured leg and they repaired it for half the cost and let us pay for it over 6 months and even followed up and rechecked our puppy for no charge thank you and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!! more

The last review is a little odd. I have been going to them for 4 years now. yesterday I was in there and having some money problems they actually recommended an online pharmacy to help defer some cost for me. They also set up a payment plan so that my dog could receive a bone surgery. Very caring and professional.\r ps they have approved my heartworm meds through petsmed for about 3years now more

just so you know 1/5/2009

they will not let you choose who you want to order your pets medication and supplements from. they will not allow me to order them from a vendor of my choice. what gives them the right to not fill my perscriptions where i choose. they will only allow me to get my pets perscriptions filled by one company and the prices are higher, keep no records of my pets medications or allergies or even that i am a past client. i can get the exact same medication from another reputable vendor, cheaper and no shipping costs, and they will not authorize the perscription so my pet can receive his heartworm medication. more

Top notch Vet Clinic 5/2/2008

I have been coming to this hospital for about 8 years and have had nothing but a wonderful experience. The doctors are very knowledgeable and always call back the next day to make sure my pets are doing well. In response to an earlier comment, I have had to wait once or twice, but if you ask it is because this clinic makes it a point to take all their patients in; even on emergency. I feel comfortable knowing if any of my pets had a life threatening condition I can go to my own vet to have them looked at right away. more

I have been going to this hospital since 2001, and I have always been pleased with my visits. The staff are friendly and remember me and my pets. The Doctor's are wonderful, always offering the best care, and very compassionate when the prognoses is not good. I feel like they really do care about me and my pets. I wouldn't go any other place! more

I have only been going to Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital for about a year now and I have been pleased each and every time I visit. The staff is friendly and efficient and they get me into a room in just a couple of minutes time. The vet staff is wonderful and really know what they are doing!! more

Incredible clinic 1/28/2008

I was amazed by the caring friendly attitude of the staff, the Doctors are very knowledgeable and always go over costs and options and allow me to make the best decision for myself and my pet. I am not sure what the previous posts are talking about with the smell, I have been going to Vet offices for the last 20 years and this is the cleanest I have ever seen. I would highly recommend them for the health care of your pet more

this was my first and last time going there, they took hours to see me even though I had an appointment, the staff seemed indifferent, like they could care less if I was there or not. the Dr was alright but I don't think they asked me anything that had to do with the reason why I was taking my dog there in the first place. Over all I was not pleased with the whole experience. And it still smelled , i wouldn't take my dog back . more

i have been taking my animals to this animal hospital for 3 years now and i love the staff and doctors. They are very knowledgable and friendly.They are always willing to help if your dog doesn't want to get out of the care or if u can't carry everything out by yourself. Also, i would like to say in rebuttal to the previous review that if she had asked about the smell she would have found out that the ENTIRE complex is having a problem with the sewer system and that is what caused the smell. Also the reason for any disorganization she noticed is because they have just (the day before) switched to a paperless computer system which they would have told her if she had asked (i asked if you cant tell). Moral of the story ASK dont judge. this hospital is a wonderful animal hospital they are very clean and friendly i would reccommend them to everyone i know. more

Dirty, disorganized and stinky Vet 11/19/2007

My experience was poor - to put it nicely. The staff seemed disoriented, disorganized and uneducated. The odor was noticable as we walked through the door, it was so overwhelming I asked my husband if he was sure we should take my dog there. I had gone to Countryside Animal Hospital in Tempe - which was TERRIFIC - until I got married and needed to find a vet closer to our home. Needless to say, I will never go back to Arrowhead Animal Hospital, and I discourage others from bringing their animals to such a dirty, disorganized and helpless clinic. more

Great Place 11/4/2005

We started using Arrowhead Ranch Animal Clinic when we first got our puppy. She was a new patient and only a few months old when she got sick. They got us in that same day and were extremely nice. When we first walked in the door they greeted us and started a conversation with us abou the puppy. The doctor was also nice and knowledgeable. more

Friendly Caring Vet 11/2/2005

This is a great place for my dog. Their prices seem about average with other vets I've been to. Their office is clean and they have a great staff. Appoinments are always easy to make.
