This a great office. It's modern and clean and everyone seems very professional and friendly. I have been going to Dr. Raoufinia for about two years now and he has done a crown and a couple fillings for me. In compare to my old dentist, Dr. Raoufinia is like superman. more

Today, I got my first cavity filled. It was amazing. Dr. Raoufinia came to the room and explained all the steps and told me not to worry. After I got numb it took him only ten minutes to fix my cavity. I was in and out of the office in 30 minutes. I will definitely recommend going to him. more

I just had my veneers done at Dr. Raoufinia's office. I do not usually write any reviews but I have to make an exception because of the incredible job he has done. In just two appointments Dr. Raoufinia has transformed my smile. I went home today to see my mom and she could not believe how I look and now she wants to drive all the way from Ashburn to see him. I definitely recommend his office... I was originally referred by a co-worker and soon I found out that the entire company I work for is going to him. more

I have gone to Dr. Raoufinia ever since I have moved to Arlington. His office is by far one of the best dental offices I have ever been to. Originally, I went to him because I had a toothache and the root canal doctor said it will cost thousands to fix. Dr. Raoufinia did the root canal and I haven't had any pain since. He has also done a root canal and a crown after my wife cracked her tooth and my wife says it was one of the most pleasant experiences she has ever had in a dental office. If you just moved to Arlington, go to Dr. Raoufinia. He will be the last dentist you will ever go to. more

I went to Dr. Raoufinia because my own dentist is on vacation and had all her patients referred to him for the next month that she is away. My dental experience with Dr Raoufinia was terrible..I went in for a root canal, and I had previously had three other root canals, and it was the most painful experience ever. The root canals I had performed by two other dentists over the years were MUCH LESS painful and much less recovery time. I was sore and couldnt eat for three days afterward and as a result of his work I developed an infection which required me going to another dentist to have drained and have me put on anti-biotics. When I called to ask him what I should do when I my entire mouth was swollen and I couldnt eat- he blew me off and rudely told me that his work is 'always great' and must be my fault. Needless to say, I went to another dentist - in his same building, and he did a great job of ending the infection and even he agreed that Dr. Raoufinia botched my root-canal. There are plenty of excellent dentists in the Arlington area- why go to a dentist like him??? more

Dr Raoufinia is excellent. I never thought any doctor could care as much as Dr. Raoufinia regarding the health of my mouth. I knew from my previous dentist I need a lot of dental work and when I moved here, I found him based on the recommendation of a coworker. He has fixed all my cavities and even when my insurance didn't cover a filling, he did it free for me. more

Dr. Raoufinia is nothing more than an insurance schemer. I went to have a filling fixed and he said I need a root canal, wisdom teeth removal and braces. Thinking he was up for a paycheck I declined to start anything during this visit. I was about to leave the country for a month on a business trip and he insisted that he at least puts a temporary filling. He did some drilling and put the temporary filling. I have an excellent insurance policy and everything should be covered ( I double-checked with my insurance). To my big surprise upon my return from the trip I had a bill waiting for me for $150 - the bill didn't state anything, only that I owe $150. There was no information what services were rendered, what each one cost, etc. When I called the office they said that in the meantime my insurance paid them $50 and I now owe them $100. I took the matter in my hands and demanded detailed bill for all monetary transfers from my insurance, plus all services rendered. He billed my insurance company for $675 and then billed me $150 (they never send me a note that company paid $50 and I owed them $100). This left me with the feeling that Raoufinia is nothing more than an insurance schemer. I refused to pay and notified my insurance company with affidavit for my experience with this office. I also sent a letter of attorney. The office then sent me a note that I owe them nothing. Here is the real kicker - I went to a different dentist's office ( a Harvard grad with excellent credentials ). She said that the work of Raoufinia was done deliberately to continue with a root canal. My new dentist did a fantastic job and put a new filling, which feels great and doesn't cause any problems. She asked me to stop by twice so she can check if there are problems. There are none. She charged the insurance company $100 for her work and charged me nothing. My two additional visits were free of charge. My advice: beware when Raoufinia suggests what you need done. Also, make sure you check your bill and check what your insurance paid. more

Good: Doctor is friendly, he speaks to you in plain English when he is discussing your teeth, the place is clean, the staff is nice, couldn't have dreamed of a better dentist. Other: I didn't have dental insurance, so they gave me a new patient special and I was able to afford to get my dental work done anyways. They take care of their patients.. more

Dr Roufinia has been, by the far, the best dentist my family has ever had. He is my children’s favorite. He is patient and careful so they actually enjoy going to see the denstist – this is a first. His fillings fit will and the shots didn’t hurt. He did major work on my teeth this year. I broke off my two front teeth years ago in a car accident and needed a bridge. I needed to replace the old caps. I saw four dentists before deciding on Roufinia for the work. I am extremely happy with the cosmetic work he did, particularly his attention to the molds and preparing the new caps and veneers to fit my mouth perfectly. They fit like a glove, the color matches well and he saved money from previous bids. After thirty years of being embarrassed by my front teeth and the gum damage from my old caps I am genuinely happy with my smile. His worked exceeded my expectations. Other things to note: He has the latest diagnostic equipment all digitized. He has access to everything on a screen in front of me so he could walk through relevant preventative. His staff is efficient and RUN ON TIME. I am almost always in and out with a short turn around. I can’t say enough good things about him and his office. If I could give him 6 stars I would just for being pleasant and kind to my children and me. Great job Arlington Dental. more

Dr Raoufinia was my first experience at a dentist. He was kind, knowledgeable, and made both visits (including two fillings) a great experience. The Arlington Dental Center was clean, modern, and welcoming. In fact I have no idea what everyone is complaining about when it comes to going to the dentist. I look forward to my next cleaning. more

I second everything that was said above. Everyone who works in this office is cheery and remembers you from your last visit. Dr. Raoufinia has a quirky sense of humor and an upbeat personality. The equipment is also well-maintained and very up to date. more

I love everything about this office. Everyone who works there is super nice and low-key; Dr Raoufinia does an incredible job; the facilities (instant x-rays, computer screens on every chair) are awesome. At both cleanings and fillings, the assistants and Dr. Raoufinia were great about explaining every procedure. Can't recommend them enough. more

Amen, to the first two reveiws. Dr. Raufinina is awesome. He is super nice. He seems to sincerely care and even remembers what's going on in your life after 6 months! The place is clean and of course the hi-tech gagdets are a very nice touch! more

This is the best dentist east of the Mississippi. Arjang kicks ass and takes names all day, every day. If you don't use him as your dentist you're a moron. more

When you first walk into the Arlington Dental Center you are amazed at how clean and white it is. It lacks in the file cabinets, films and papers strewn around other dental offices. Everything there is hi-tech, they use computer flat screens in front of you to show what's happening in your mouth (X-rays) and to show you what needs to be done (cavity fillings). It's really a lot of fun to see what new gadgets they are using. The staff are all very friendly and professional. The dentist, Dr. Aroufinia will talk you through any problem areas he sees and explain how to take care of your teeth. I recommend this place highly! more
