All they care about is the insurance money. The director of the program their is a complete nightmare and spends her time harassing mentally ill patients who have just gotten out of a hospital.
The program I was put in was supposed to be for recovering people, but no one else in the group had any sort of problem with booze, but where there for other reasons.
The whole thing was one big mistake.
One counselor was really good, and the other counselor was wicked bad.
You're not supposed to ""get to know"" anybody in your group and the whole thing just seems weird beyond belief.
Do yourself a favor, you need a shrink? Go find one through your primary care.
Then, after you establish trust, ask you shrink for a ref to a group session (or maybe you shrink has a group program you could enter).
Whatever you do stay away from the Arbor - what a sh*t hole.
