Wonderful Massages! Welcome Verna! 5/7/2010

My family and I are very happy to have Verna as our new massage therapist at Aramesh. I get regular Swedish body massages and always leave from my treatments feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. \r Verna is an accomplished professional masseuse who listens to her client's requests and tailors the massage to her client's needs. Her room is clean, calm and relaxed...the music is soothing and she even has a heated blanket underneath to keep your comfortable if you want it. Her technique is effective at addressing sore muscles, tension and the overall fatigue I experience from my busy life as a professor, nurse, and mom of three active teenagers. I feel safe and comfortable receiving treatments from Verna and am confident enought to send my two daughters to her too. \r The location at the Forum is convenient and her schedule is flexible for busy people. There are regular specials on pricing [*like the Mother's Day special of $55 for a 1-hour Swedish massage....hint, hint to my family!) and Verna has a wide variety of services to offer.\r \r As a nurse and a mom and a busy professional, I can highly recommend Aramesh Spa for massages Pros: Therapuetic massage, great customer service Cons: loud noise from tanning area more

Complete waste of time unless you want a tan 1/22/2009

This place was a complete waste of my time and energy. First I went by to speak to a stylist about doing my hair. There was no one there to speak to. I left my phone number and Tony the only stylist working there at this time. Called me back two days later. We spoke for about 10 mintues and he made a appointment for me to come in and have my hair done. He told me what day and time to be there. When I arrived about 15 mintues before my appointment, the girls at the front desk looked confused. One girl said that she thought that he called me but the other girl said that he should be in any minute. After I waited 45 mintues and no one could seem to get him to answer his phone I left. I can not believe that a place that calls theirself a day spa only has one stylist! It has been three days now and they do not even have the sense to even call and try to make things right. I think that they should just change there name to tanning salon as that is the only thing that I saw happening there. I can not believe how bad the customer service was at this ""day spa"". I was told that the people who work on the spa side make their own schedule so they don't really keep up with them. NICE! THANKS FOR WASTING MY TIME AND GAS TONY...the stylist that deosn't care about customer service. more

Great Facials, that's it! 4/22/2008

I had a total package deal with the mani/pedi, facial, and massage. The ""spa"" pedi was just me sitting in a chair with my feet in a bucket of water. The ""spa"" mani was me sitting in a chair with my hand soaking in a bowl. No ""spa"" about it, very disappointed. Next was my massage. It was an hour long. It consisted of 45 minutes of the girl stalling and having to keep getting the massage lotion and very little actual massaging. This was the worst attempt at a massage so I did not even tip her. So far, I was severly disappointed with the place. Lastly, my facial. I was actually surprised at how relaxing this was, and she even gave my legs and feet a massage as well. The facial wasn't too abrasive and left me feeling great. This is the only reason I would go back to Aramesh.\r \r I would not bother to purchase a gift certificate, they are not refundable in case you change your mind. I would not waste my time or money on a massage that is worse than my boyfriends during a Monday night football game. And, while I was there, I watched the girls clean the tanning beds. I watched how the one worker barely used any santizer and just wiped down part of the bed and not both the top and bottom, nor the sides. So, next time you get into that tanning bed and it feels damp, that's not disinfectant, it's sweat. I decided after watching how they don't clean the beds, I will no longer tan there.\r \r I'm not picky, trust me. I just expect to get what I pay for, and so should you. Sorry, Aramesh, I will go elsewhere. more
