Setting a New Standard for Businesses 7/29/2006

I'm thoroughly impressed with the owner's business ethic, personability, and genuine love for the saltwater hobby. It's rare to find a business these days that has the customer's best interests at heart, but Aquatic Concepts absoluted does. I LOVE the atmosphere in the store and have even dropped by just to enjoy it. I tripped on this store when I first found it and am so glad I did - I recommend it to everyone I know! Pros: Great prices, Wonderful people to work with, Addictive atmosphere Cons: supplies move fast so pickings can seem slim more

Worth the Travel! 7/11/2006

I have a 300 gal reef tank and have been in the hobby for over 10 years. I live in Greensboro and instead of going to the local fish stores around me I drive to Aquatic Concepts for their selection and price. I love the atmosphere of the store! The staff are well trained and the owners always remember who you are. For everyone who lives in Raleigh or Cary I heard that they are opening another facility somewhere in raleigh. I think it is supposed to open sometime in the fall. Pros: Great Staff, Atmosphere and selection Cons: The good stuff goes fast! more

The Saltwater Superstore! 7/10/2006

I saw a Huge 600 gallon custom tank built by these guys in my Doctors office and decided to check out the showroom. I thought it would be really expensive but they have packages to fit every budget. I bought a 24 gallon Nano cube and I love it. All the enjoyment of saltwater and it didn't cost too much. This is by far the best fish store around and their customer service is great! Pros: Very Clean, great customer service and good prices Cons: lots of traffic on fridays more

Good for starters 7/10/2006

I got a 12 gallon Nanocube from here back in December of 2005. Its a great tank for people new to aquaculture like i am. Its a small, all in one unit, kind of like an iMac of fishtanks. I set it up in my cube at work and LOVE IT!! The only thing is that my coworkers love it too and stand around my desk all day. It fits nicely in a small area and gets lots of attention. \r I have not had any problems with it and the guys at the store are always cool when i show up and ask questions. They remember who i am and usually can remember everything i have in it. Its coming along great and would recommend it to anyone that wants to get started. Im hooked! Pros: Its living artwork, everybody loves it Cons: Store inventory goes quick more

Best fish store in the triangle! 7/6/2006

I am brand new to the hobby so I have a lot of questions and the staff at Aquatic Concepts have all the answers. There retail facility is amazing! Lots of fish corals and gorgeous show tanks. I also compared prices and they are almost the same as internet prices. All my fish and corals are alive and healthy! Pros: Great Atmosphere and customer service. Cons: A little drive from Raleigh. more

""Pimpify"" your Pad at Aquatic Concepts 9/24/2005

A reef/saltwater tank is one the best additions I've ever purchased for my home. I purchased a 50 gallon tank from Aquatic Concepts. WITHOUT A DOUBT, the triangle's best saltwater specialty shop. The larger quanities with the lowest prices makes this place the best around. They offer maintanence plans and the staff is very knowledgeable. I put my tank in my wall...I must say it looks great! Give these guys a try you will be glad that you did! Pros: fair prices, large variety, healthy fish Cons: in durham more

The Saltwater Specialist 7/20/2005

The best looking store in the triangle with the best selection on fish and corals. The store looks like a home inside. Great atmosphere. Very knowledgeable staff that is willing to help. Not only are they a retail store but they mainly focus on custom aquariums, furniture and in wall. There work is amazing. You have to check out there showroom in person. They have 6 show tanks. a 210 gallon reef, 300 gal fish only, 90 gal reef, 65 gal reef and a bunch of nano cubes. If you haven't seen the store in person you are missing out. Pros: Specialty, knowledgeable Cons: durham more
