TERRIBLE! 2/23/2009

I ate at the Aoki in Exton Pa. I have ate there before and remember it as better than average. I ate there again in 2/09. This place took a nose dive! It is important for sushi bars to serve fresh fish. The fish showed no decay however was not fresh (dry and coming apart). The fish served was also cut very thin. The employee's were all dressed in their restaurant gear however the host was dressed in blue jeans, tee shirt, and a ball cap. Aoki charges more than average therefore I expect more than average. I will not being going to this HORRIBLE restaurant again and I will tell everybody I know not to go there. What a let down! Pros: I didn't get food po is on more

I love Japanese food and have had tasted some great food over the the years. The Sushi at Aoki was excellent. I will be going back there ASAP. Highly recommend this excellent restaurant. Pros: the sushi Cons: a tad pricey more

#1 japanese restaurant in Exton! 10/20/2008

Staff is amazing! Very helpful when trying to choose what order. Their iced green tea is homemade and always a treat. The house salad dressing is to die for! They raised their prices a little, BUT IT IS WORTH IT! If you're really hungry, try a bento box! Sushi is amazing, as well as the miso soup! Love Aoki and will always stay a loyal customer. Best Japanese foods 12/10/2007

I moved to Exton two monthes ago and neighbor recomend this restaurant because he knows I'm a sushi lover. I went to this place 3 times so far and the foods always EXCELENT!! sushi always fresh, kitchen food is very tasty!! I love the main street roll and samurai roll and they also give special appertizer free!! which also good. I am glade that he recomend this place. Best and Freshest Sushi and Food in the Area 9/24/2007

This place was amazing.... im not very sure what these other people are talking about but once that angry waiter left, the service is now quick and very attentive, the sushi chefs are very kind although they dont speak much english. Sushi is unbelievably fresh and made relatively quickly but they make sure not to keep your waiting for long. Pros: Fresh Sushi, Great Price, Good Service Cons: Finding Close Parking more

Easily the best. 2/5/2006

One of the previous reviewers, cited the food as 1-step above supermarket grade sushi. i really would like to know what supermarket they shop at. short of NYC or maybe Moromoto's Aoki is easily the best sushi house in the tri-state area. the staff is as always excellent, and their varitable menu is always intresting. Best Sushi in WC 11/13/2005

I go here regularly! Very fresh and delicious sushi. All staff members are polite and friendly. We stayed with the restaurant when it moved locations. If you know sushi, then this is the place to go. Pros: Delicious, setting Cons: Very Expensive more

Fantastic over all!!! 8/11/2005

Being new to the area, I tried this place when I was driving by the plaza - and was super impressed! The staff was very quick and polite, and the sushi was by far the best I have had in the area. Have since returned and continue to do so about once a week. Highly recommended! Pros: everything! more
