WARNING: They have very sketchy contract details. The owner ,while very nice, will quickly and rudely skip over these details. When signing up I asked about taking credit cards (while the ""office administrator"" assured and gladly accepted my credit card), he said they currently do not, only debit and bank withdrawal. Reluctantly I agreed (with much pressure from the owner) to use bank withdrawal to save the owner 3% fee. What he failed to mention is that if the draft did not go through there is a 20 dollar service fee along with 10 dollar late fee. When I went in to speak to them about cancelling, they informed me about the policy of 30 day written notice which basically equates to them getting another month?s worth of fees out of you. The ""Office administrator"" could not even give me correct information on their policies. Saying ""I'll have to check with Eric (the owner)"".
I would never recommend them to anyone. The facilities are not bad, but there is constantly a broke treadmill or Elliptical and an odd smell from their ""cleaning"" supplies. It is not that I did not have the money to pay the fees, I switched banks and forgot to provide them with updated information. Be warned, they are nice to sign you up, but once in the contract you are forced (regardless of duration of the contract) to pay a 150.00 cancel fee. Add that to the changing fees (when I signed back up a second and final time, the fees had jumped up along with a 100 signing up fee, along with a fee to get the card used to open the door) and you are better off going else where. Sure there is convince in it being the only 24hr gym in Keizer (I believe SNAP fitness opened up) . If you feel this is written in spite, call and ask about the fees and you will all this to be true.
The fees have gone up and up. You are better off going else where.
