Anytime Fitness

My experience with the gym was fine, but I ran in to problems when I needed to terminate my agreement. When I initially signed up I was told if I moved further than 15 miles from a gym ( I was moving several hundred miles away)I would be able to terminate my agreement within 30 days as long as I had proof with my new address. At first everything went fine until we talked about next months billing. When I signed up I had to pay for first and last month, therefore next month should have been covered. No, according to them my last month will be Oct. 2012! This of course is ridiculous but more importantly unethical. They clearly were less than honest when explaining their termination policy. Makes me wonder what other things they were less than honest about. I liked the gym but would never join again, since I don't want to deal with people I can't trust. more

This health club is by far the best I have ever been to!! The people in this club are so friendly. It is like a family there--everyone is so helpful and supportive. People compliment one another and you never feel uncomfortable. The personal training staff is unlike any other club--they ACTUALLY care about you and your fitness goals...they are all approachable and friendly. They have a personal training program there that allowed me to lose 15% of my body fat!! This club has given me a new life! The staff all know your name and never fail to make you feel welcome. They are all encouraging and want to see everyone succeed. They have brand new treadclimbers with TV's on each one and all of the equipment is the best in the industry. The club is very modern and unique...it is refreshing. I would recommend this club to anyone--it is the best out there--you can't find a more friendly and comfortable environment anywhere. Ive been involved with several health clubs my whole life; and have been involved with several business owners in the past 15 years. Brian is one of the best owners that I have ever worked with, and not only that, he is one of the best person that i have ever been around. He goes out of his way to change peoples lives every day working 14 to 16 hours a day to help help help. I would highly recommend the gym as well as any of the training staff to anyone. In my travels from the carolinas, florida, and new hampshire, i have never been involved with a more outstanding group of guys as well as an amazing owner. I have been a member at countless area gyms. This is THE BEST place on earth. From the moment I walked through the doors...I was blessed. I immediately knew this place was nothing but a class act...from the gorgeous decor to the handsome trainers. I wondered though...don't judge a book by its cover...do they really know what to do with me? In one week of hiring a personal trainer...my life would be forever changed! If you want the facts...and the results...hire one of the highly educated and dedicated men...they will fix you...the right way...it will change your life. I am living proof. Stop in and visit...give it a try...it is unlike any place you have ever been to. As for the other person's review...I have high expectations..and this gym is spotless, friendly, and professional. Sounds like that previous reviewer can't recognize class when they see it...too bad...this is the place to be. Brian, Dan, Chad, Marino and Bill have the knowledge and the know how to get things done. If you want to learn about how nutrition and exercise can truly change your body...this is THE ONLY place go. I have worked out beside professional body builders on one side and a brand new scared to death beginner on the other side...and never have I seen or heard anyone ever be rude or disrespectful. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and empowered to take control of your own health destiny. My trainer always says..""success is a choice"". I was visiting this gym because I was out of town and was very disappointed. The equipment was not clean, and for as busy as they seemed to be, you would think they want to provide clean equipment for their clients. The staff is also very unfriendly. One man asked how I was...but that was all. To top it off, one of the men working said something to my bf and my bf didn't hear him, neither did i, and when my bf walked passed, the man said ""or just walk by me and ignore me then"" (in a very rude tone) loud enough that I could hear him that time. It was just not a pleasant environment and the staff seemed very rude. i will not visit that gym again. Cons: dirty equipment and unfriendly staff more
