Overstuffed, but not always overpriced 8/17/2005

Located in Eastern Market, the shop is crammed full of priceless, well priced and overpriced antiques, from silver to furniture to art to, as they say, junque. It is fun to poke around, and you might find something you can't live without. Good to coordinate with a trip to the farmer's market at Eastern Market. But why oh why did the Eastern Market restaurant stop serving breakfast? more

Fun old junk 8/15/2005

Antiques on the Hil is absolutely packed to the gills with stuff. There's old jewelry, old knick knacks, old books, old americana, old paintings, all kinds of stuff. It's probably all junk to some people, but if you like antiques and long for one of a kind finds, then this is a good place to go treasure hunting. It's also right in Eastern Market so you can continue your search for treasures outside once you're done. more

Located near the EASTERN MARKET. Goods are located floor to roof in this shop, and you'll find all kinds of extraordinary knickknacks, odds and ends, and bric-a-brac. The store even describes itself as "wall to wall clutter of American and foreign cultural artifacts." Whether you want textiles, silver, toys, prints, paintings, or jewelry - you will find it here! more
