Doctor Blondin is AMAZING! He truly cares about the animals that are in his care. He has answered all of our questions and has helped our baby tremendously. His techs/assistant Jenny is just as caring. I would recomend this office to anyone. more

We've been patients of AMC since they opened. The doctors have always been genuinely interested in the well being of our dogs -and- our feelings seemed imp to them too. That's most appreciated, especially when we had tough decisions to make. more

Dr. Deeke has been my the vet for my pets for more than 20 years...My cat Kitty, which I had to put down, was 22 years old and well cared for by this facility. As my cat aged they also advised on vaccines that were not necessary so I didn't have an added expense. I currently have 2 cats, one 18 years old and one almost 4, and I wouldn't think of taking them to any other facility. I am always confident when bring in my pets, because I know they are getting their full attention when we have our appointments. I have recommended this facility to several people and have had good feedback from them too... more

I've owned five dogs in my life and over the years used several different animal hospitals. This medical center for animals is the best I've ever used. The staff is very friendly, the cost is reasonable, the facililty is clean, and the doctors truly are interested in your animal. I had to bring my pet in to be put down. I happened to have a vet I'd never met assist me with my pets last moments. We both cried together. It was the most beautiful experience for me - to have this vet share in such a deeply personal moment and act as if this were her dog as well. I have another dog and know that I'm lucky to have the staff care for my pet. I've recommended this facility to many friends. They were rated highly in the newspaper as well. more

Really?? Anonymous (AMC) it appears you do not like Itasca period! The staff and Doctors are always friendly and helpful. I have been taking my Dog Rascal to the Center since I got her and 9 years later we still take her there. I have referred many people there and they all rave about Dr. Deeke and his staff. So Anonymous, glad you found somewhere else to take your pet, because Itasca does not need negative people like you. more

Lets see what can i say about this place that isn't rude. The staff there are always buisness and just ask you to sit and wait. There are many docotrs on staff, but always a wait. Their boarding area is always a mess. Lets see it is Itasca and the people there aren;t always nice. They are over priced for their vaccs, boarding bascially everything, but i guess you pet comes first, if yu love them money shouldn't matter. This is not true i love my animals but wish the prices could be better. i have found a slightly cheaper place, with funny and caring staff. more

Dr. Deeke saved my dog's (Herbert's) life! My family is so grateful for the wonderful care Herbert received during his length of stay at Animal Medical. Dr. Deeke is genuinely concerned about his patients and it is quite evident he truly loves what his job. He scheduled Herbert's surgery on his day off and took the time to check on him post-operatively -- again on his day off. He guided us through Herbert's recovery. If your looking for a place that loves and cares for your pet. This is the place. They really take the time and really LOVE you pets. When we had to put our beloved Sammy to sleep, the Doctor cried with us. He is just wonderful. I drive all the way from Romeoville, and would not have it any other way. My dogs won't go to anyone else. The best care in town as far as I'm concerned. more

This is a great animal hospital we have 2 cats and they treat them with such care. This past year we decided to board them for a week when we went on vacation, they did everything they could to care for them in a similar manner as we would. They even called us in Florida to let us know the results of a blood test they took. We were very pleased when we picked up the cats, the staff gave an account on what happened with them each day. PROS: excellent care of animals reasonably priced CONS: none more

This is definately a great place. They took care of my dog, who had a benign growth on the side of his neck. My dog was really scared and I saw how well they took care of him. I would definately go there again if I had to. more

This is one of the best Animal Hospital in the area. They have the latest equipment for laser surgery or emergency care. When my dog Max ate a plastic bottle, this was where I brought him for surgery. The vets were very good and also very nice staff. They treated my dog with the utmost care. They are located in Itasca which is in your western suburbs of Chicago. They also have many other services for your pets and also checkups. I wouldn't hestitate to use them again for any emergency for my pets. more
