The people at Angell really care about animals and it shows when you deal with the actual vets. I brought my cat here several times, both for routine shots and emergency care, and the people were great. Be forewarned: if you have a veterinarian intern, s/he may be gung ho to run lots of tests your pet doesn't need, so if your cat has a simple cough, might wait for a second opinion. Angell is one of three animal hospitals in the U.S. that has an animal blood donation program, too, so if your pet is under 8 years old give them a call - if your pet donates three times a year, s/he gets free shots and, each time, a free bag of really good pet food. You know your cat wants a bumper sticker that says, "Pet Me, I Donated Blood." The waiting room here is quite a scene.
