I agree that this theatre is nasty and run down. You can't blame it though, it has been sitting there for over 40 years since the late 1960's early 1970's This was my first theatre managing and I saw more things then the customer could see. I brought it up as much as I could but this theatre never made enough money to operate. No need to worry about this theatre though because it shut down in April 2007 and was demolished in November of 2007....so no need to worry about this theatre...and no need to plan on going here any more. more

"Dollar" Movie 8/17/2005

If you don't mind waiting a few months to see a movie after it comes out, then this is the place for you. They usually carry the most popular movies. Granted, it is an older movie theater, and it could use a good cleaning.However, you can't beat the price. It only costs 1.50 per person. What a deal! more

Very gross! 8/9/2005

This theater is in desperate need of a deep cleaning. The seats are stained (don't even want to imagine how they became so stained), the floor is so sticky that your shoes make sounds when you walk across it, and the place has a somewhat funky odor (kind of a cross between urine and popcorn). The prices are great and I like being able to catch some movies after they have left the good theaters and before it comes out on video. Unfortunately I just can't stomach the place and rarely go. Don't plan on doing anything after you go there because you will want to go home and take a shower. more

This theater is ok, but not anywhere you'd probably want to go when the lights are on. It's fairly dirty and besides that they only have 2 shows at a time, which is not that great either. It's a great bargain to go and see a show for $1.50, but still, I take a small blankie to drape over the seats before I sit down and wouldn't eat the popcorn/drinks there if you paid me. But, every now and then when there is something we really want to see and can't wait for video, we'll go here, so that makes it ok and doable, but overall it's not that great of a place. It's in need of MAJOR renovation and cleaning. more
