Salad was missing some of the advertised ingredients when it came out. Ravioli was broken when it arrived on the table. Both dishes were returned to the kitchen, and were fine in the second draft, but this did slow the pace of our dining experience a bit.
Red wine was served way too warm and white wine was served way too cold (I know, this is a common problem at restaurants like this).
Popular and crowded, with a number of families with rambunctious kids in attendance (it was Sunday, after all). This is charming up to a point, but the noise level reflects this and made it hard to hear my date speak.
If you want reliably good Italian food, and fewer kids underfoot, you'll find several superior alternatives a short drive east on San Vicente.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Sub-par cooking, Noisy, Crowded
