The company I work for has used ASG for years. I just moved into a new home and had them come out to quote an alarm and camera system. The sales rep was on time and very knowledgeable about all the products. He gave advice and ask a lot of questions to make sure I got the best system. After spending two hours with me we finally got the perfect system for my home. On the day of the install the techs where right on time and ready to go. The where very clean, courtesy and knowledgeable. The install was done in the time they said it would be and they even took time to fix a few other things around my house that had nothing to do with the install. Overall my whole experience was top notch and I would recommend this company to everyone. The can design and do any size security system. We've been a commercial customer from American Security Group for almost 14 years and without a doubt provide the best customer service of any company we deal with. As a company we've probally spent over $1,000.000.00 with them for security equipment and service and never had one problem that they didn't take care within 24 hours. more

They stink. Set up an apt... 15 minutes before: ""Sorry, were not coming. Your job is NOT WORTH OUR TIME."" If there's not enough money in it for them - they just flake out. Took off time from work. Typical crappy customer service. You should avoid them at all cost! They CAN NOT be trusted! -psst in San Marcos- Pros: The Tech guys know their stuff... Cons: 50/50 that they'll even show up... more
